Pete, if it were me, I would make an online wager against the Tenn Volunteers as soon as possible and dedicate it to Frist.

When you win your wager, spend the money on some good wine and raise a glass to the fact he's no longer in the US Congress

whoop-dee-doo

In the time it took you to read Post #1 in this here thread, there were likely up to a half million or more Americans who placed some kind of online gambling wager.(cards and sports)

And in the time it takes you to read THIS post and consider what I just stated, there were another half million or more online wagers placed by Americans who really don't give a crap what anyone in Washington DC has to say about using the Internet to place wagers.

And the criminal government has already had a minor victory regulating and restricting online gambling. USA citizens can't play on pinnacle, netteller, betfair, and other books solely due to the governments actions. They most likely will never fully succeed in regulating online gambling, of course, but it's still a battle that needs to be fought and to just blow it off like they can't do anything is naive.

If you personally feel it worth your while to contribute time and/or money to efforts which could assist in rescinding current federal laws prohibiting online gambling, please don't stop due to anything I might write

Seriously

While I might personally be confident that all of my own gambling demands will never be unduly inhibited by anything the US feds might do, I respect that others might not share that confidence.

As for your specific complaints in the previous post:

While Pinnacle and Netteller may have elected to for the time being no longer do business with U.S. based customers, other equally competitive sportsbooks have stepped up and most certainly it's pretty much a breeze to move money back and forth. And be sure that the demand for Pinnacle-style wagering will continue to be met by enterprising sportsbooks who operate outside of U.S. legal jurisdiction and there will continue to be many people and businesses working to simplify the flow of money both into and out of the USA.
