Taking away the offshore will not stop people from gambling and watching games. We will go back to what we did before offshore was around and bet through a local. A hell of a lot bigger pain in the Ass but gambling on sports will continue.

Coming from the UK I just can't get my head round this. If anyone tried to stop me gambling I'd f**king kill them.

I find it incredulous that everyone in the USA is classed as responsible enough to own a gun but not responsible enough to be allowed to spend their hard earned wages on the entertainment of their choice.

Am I missing something here?

I also think we are safe this season... I wonder if it passes if it will become effective Jan 1 04..then we might be screwed out of the superbowl...but this FB season we are good IMO..
