It was a very good spot for well coached, rested SA, at home, needed a win whereas road team Bucks in back to back game situation, just traveled 1000 miles, did not need the win... did not fight in the 2nd half like SA did. Folded like a cheap lawn chair.
Sure, no key players "sat" but did they "mail it in", maybe...? Got their points for their personal offensive stats but did they play all out "D"?

Actually that's complete nonsense. The actual quote was absolutely incorrect....

What was more the case was the comment that was made in the write-up in the game (that I quoted)...."The Bucks have played two games, and flown 1,100 miles south, since San Antonio played a game, so fatigue could be a factor on Sunday." And as the game played out, that appeared to be exactly what happened and they fizzled fairly quick in the 2nd half.
Nothing in Dragoon's post talked about that and as stated, no players rested. So the information was bogus, regardless of the outcome. Dragoon came in and admitted that (so I'll give him/her credit for that). And neither of us knew the outcome of the game at the point where it was stated that no players rested.
Believe it or not, the most intelligent post in the thread was Runmaker's ...." You can tell by the read of this rant that this is not a long-term EV+ scenario". I really doesn't matter to me if a game wins in a scenario like this as the information can't be trusted and over the long run, you will probably lose if you follow someone that passes out faulty info and makes decisions on games based on it. Unfortunately, as stated above, Runmaker is such a moron with everything else he says that people don't actually listen to a thing he says (even when it does make sense).

I can only think of one time in my life that I could qualify in that .0000001% category you were talking about. It was at a gym I was working in San Francisco and the visiting teams playing the Warriors would practice on our basketball court. A key player sprained his ankle during a practice and I was there to see it (was walking in the pool area which was directly across from the court). Barely won much on the game as I wasn't in a position to really bet a ton and the line moved immediately when the player was listed as "doubtful" for the game. As you stated though, the majority of the time, it's pure bullshit when someone makes a claim like this (not saying Dragoon knew, just calling it what it is...and he said as much in his original post).
