I think we need to stop just focusing on the deaths.
Think about how many incidents that didn’t result in death. The beatings. The cop robberies. The trauma.

I grew up in this young boy. What’s sad is you’re twice my age and still don’t have a basic understanding of fairness, dignity, and respect.
I live by a code or a contract. Unwritten laws of society. Do to others as you would have them do to you. Treat others how you would like to be treated. It’s a simple basic principle of life.
And yes I won a state ring. And yes I started plenty of games as a junior. We would have repeated the next year if two of our players under me would’ve played. Instead, I couldn’t do it all myself. I have some legendary stories if you want me to sit you on my knee I can tell you stories and teach you lessons from a real G.

Only championship in our school history for that sport. Legendary team. I told one of the most legendary stories from that season here before. First round game we get matched up with a potential state finalist. Last minute was chaos. And game ended with us winning by 1 and the refs almost getting jumped and a report of a gun in the crowd and our fans(students) getting jumped outside. Come sit right here on this knee little boy.
