I've watched a lot of football and other sporting events but I have to say its possible tonight's game was one the biggest disgraces I've ever witnessed from a head coach. Its highly unlikely the events of this game weren't a direct protest from Rex Ryan for having Geno Smith "forced" on him.
In the first half they must've dialed up every run play imaginable and despite the incredible success they achieved they did not call one play action pass. Now of course in the second half Miami stacked the box to the extreme and there was no alteration whatsoever in the "run on every down" game plan. Until the final drive Geno Smith had thrown once on first/second down. I have never in my life seen a team run for 200+ yards and not dial up a single play action pass on first/second down. Even more shocking as Miami's secondary was a mess after Grimes with a player signed off the street this past week.
Absolutely shocking play calling or outright sabotage, my bet on the latter.
