I think that is just discourse in the internet-driven 21st century. Both parties do it.

A lot of dysfunction in peoples lives gets manifested into political extremism and it turns into little more than rooting for a sports team.

Oh Mantis I realized a long time ago it’s futile to try and reason with some here. When Ace and Joe go round and round with Vit or when Scott goes at it with Guesser I mostly just scroll past. But every once in a while I just can’t help myself. If I replied to everything I disagreed with I’d have hit 50,000 posts by now.
