Contact Tracing Group Funded By Soros and Gates, Has Chelsea Clinton on Board

Contact tracing is a process that uses teams of investigators to find out who infected people have come into contact with.

The group, which has received funding from George Soros and Bill Gates has Chelsea Clinton on its Board.

The group is already “training and deploying hundreds of contact tracers.” Some citizens fear the potential for mass surveillance posed by contact tracing, especially in light of a Democrat-introduced bill in Congress to authorize contact tracing “at individuals’ residences.” Partners In Health’s involvement will not assuage many fears, considering the group has received funding from George Soros and Bill Gates organizations and counts Chelsea Clinton on its board of trustees.

Partners in Health lists George Soros’ Open Society Foundations as an official partner, along with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Partners In Health lists Open Society Foundations on its 2015 annual report as a supporter to the tune of $1 million or above, along with the Gates Foundation. Chelsea Clinton serves on Partners in Health’s Board of Trustees, according to its 2019 annual report.

As U.S. unemployment soars to historic levels, the hottest job of the year could be a lifesaver: contact tracing. Containing the coronavirus as the economy gradually reopens has created an urgent need for hundreds of thousands of people trained to identify infected individuals and track down anyone and everyone they could have exposed to the virus.

In the absence of a federal plan, some city and state health departments are already seeking to fill thousands of these positions. Experts estimate that between 100,000 and 300,000 contact tracers — who can earn up to $65,000 per year — will be needed nationwide based on state populations and projected COVID-19 infection rates.

"I do think that it's a fantastic job for people who have been furloughed, and it's something that people can be trained to do," said Roger Shapiro, a professor of medicine at the Harvard School of Public Health. "It takes some training, but it's not impossible to train almost anybody with reasonable social skills, who can work off a script, begin a conversation with people, convey a few key messages and collect data," he said.

I would rather go bankrupt, become homeless and starve to death before I would EVER consider working for them or even consenting to it!

Republican Tom Tiffany wins Wisconsin special election

Republican Tom Tiffany won the special election in Wisconsin’s 7th District on Tuesday to fill the vacancy left by former Rep. Sean Duffy (R).

Tiffany, a state senator, defeated Democrat Tricia Zunker, a member of the Wausau School Board and associate justice on the Ho-Chunk Nation Supreme Court. Tiffany was winning by a 58-42 percent margin with about 83 percent of precincts reporting.

L.A. County Will Extend Stay-at-Home Order for the Next Three Months, Says Public Health Director

Residents of Los Angeles County in California will most likely be living under stay-at-home orders until sometime in July, according to county Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer. Although no official order has been enacted, Ferrer said during a Tuesday meeting that the extension would happen "with all certainty."

California's stay-at-home orders were originally expected to end on Friday. However, if Ferrer's comments pan out to be accurate, the state will push the orders out for approximately three months.

"I do think recovery will be months long, based on the tools we have at hand today," Ferrer said at a Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday.

"Our hope is that by using the data, we'd be able to slowly lift restrictions over the next three months," Ferrer said.

Ferrer further explained that unless there was a "dramatic change to the virus and tools at hand," there would be "no way that we could in fact see us not needing to continue with a set of restrictions."

Despite warnings about taking hydroxychloroquine to fight the symptoms of COVID-19, prescriptions in France have increased by up to 7,000% in parts of the country since the start of the pandemic.

As La Provence reports, a study of the 466 million French prescriptions written since the start of the pandemic in France, shows a huge surge of doctors prescribing the drug. In the last week of March, for example, more than 10,000 people were prescribed hydroxychloroquine only in Marseille.

Judge's delay on resolving Flynn case stuns court watchers

Judge Emmet Sullivan's decision to allow third parties to submit amicus curiae ("friend of the court") briefs in former national security adviser Michael Flynn's case after the Justice Department moved to dismiss it has struck legal experts as "unusual," if not "outrageous," while Flynn's own counsel argues that it should not be allowed in the first place.

The DOJ agreed to drop the charges against Flynn last week, but Sullivan has to sign off on it in order for the case to go away. Sullivan's order Tuesday shows he is not ready to do this just yet.

“This is an outrageous decision by a judge who’s now placed himself into that, you know, awful category of an activist who’s willing to set aside rules, set aside ethics, set aside precedent, and just go in a direction because he is politically motivated to do so," former Utah U.S. Attorney Brett Tolman told "Fox & Friends" Wednesday morning.

Flynn's attorney Sidney Powell wrote in a court filing following Sullivan's order that there is no local rule allowing for amicus briefs in criminal cases.

Flynn judge calls in anti-Trump lawyer to argue against government’s motion to dismiss

D.C. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan issued an unusual order Wednesday appointing a law firm partner "to present arguments in opposition to the government's motion to dismiss" the matter -- and to consider whether the court should hold Flynn in contempt for perjury.

The precise reasons for the perjury review were not clear in Sullivan's order. Last year, Flynn abruptly abandoned his plan to provide testimony against a former associate, after admitting that he had lied on federal forms required under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). Flynn has said he received constitutionally inadequate legal advice.

Although Flynn was never charged with the FARA violations or perjury, he admitted to making “materially false statements and omissions” concerning his work in Turkey as part of his plea agreement. Flynn ultimately pleaded guilty only to one count of lying to FBI agents in the White House in January 2017 as his legal bills mounted, leading him to sell his home.

Flynn did not plead guilty to perjury, which applies to false statements under oath in a legal proceeding. (In leaked remarks this week, though, former President Obama conspicuously suggested Flynn had been charged with perjury.)

Sol Wisenberg says Flynn case judge may be trying to force pardon out of Trump with unusual orders

Former Whitewater deputy independent counsel Sol Wisenberg joined "The Ingraham Angle" Wednesday to discuss U.S. District Judge Emmett Sullivan's order allowing a third party to present arguments opposing the Justice Department's motion to dismiss the case against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

Despite the unusual move by Sullivan, Wisenberg said that the judge will eventually have to honor the DOJ's request.

"The D.C. Circuit, which governs Judge Sullivan, made it very clear you cannot refute if the government wants to dismiss a case," he said. "The district court cannot refuse to do so because he doesn't like the government's theory, because he thinks the governor of the government should continue the case.

Judge Sullivan has no authority to refute the Government's decision to dismiss a case.

Sullivan is part of the evil Dem group and is just doing his part to try to delay Flynn's pardon.

He is trying to confuse some of the public sheep into thinking his pardon is "politically motivated".

List of officials who sought to 'unmask' Flynn released: Biden, Comey, Obama chief of staff among them

Top Obama administration officials purportedly requested to "unmask" the identity of former national security adviser Michael Flynn during the presidential transition period, according to a list of names from that controversial process made public on Wednesday.

The list was declassified in recent days by Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell and then sent to GOP Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson, who made the documents public.

The roster features top-ranking figures including then-Vice President Joe Biden -- a detail already being raised by the Trump campaign in the bare-knuckle 2020 presidential race where Biden is now the Democrats' presumptive nominee.

The list also includes then-FBI Director James Comey, then-CIA Director John Brennan, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and Obama's then-chief of staff Denis McDonough.

The declassified list specifically showed officials who “may have received Lt. Gen Flynn’s identity in response to a request processed between 8 November 2016 and 31 January 2017 to unmask an identity that had been generically referred to in an NSA foreign intelligence report,” the document, obtained by Fox News, read.

The list revealed that then-U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power made unmasking requests seven times between Nov. 30, 2016 and Jan. 11, 2017. The list revealed that Clapper made three requests from Dec. 2, 2016 through Jan. 7, 2017; and that Brennan made two requests, one on Dec. 14 and one on Dec. 15, 2016. Comey also made a request on Dec. 15, 2016. On Jan. 5, 2017, McDonough made one request, and on Jan. 12, 2017, Biden made one request.

The day McDonough requested the information is the same day as an Oval Office meeting that has drawn scrutiny in the wake of the Flynn developments. The meeting included Obama, Biden, Clapper, Brennan, Comey, then-National Security Adviser Susan Rice and then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates.
