Anyone who was around this thread last year at this time remembers that a few days before July 4th I announced that because I wanted
to catch up with my summer activities this year that I was not able to do in the prior two years, that I was going to take a vacation
from any participation in this thread from July 4th until Labor Day.
Well I lived up to that promise and had a very enjoyable summer with some vacations, day trips and just plain enjoying this great time
this year.
This year I am not going to take the whole summer off because of the hot political situation.
However, I am going to take eight days off from any participation in this thread beginning this Sunday night July 2 late
and not return until the morning of July 11.
For those who are interested, on early Monday morning on July 3, I will be embarking on a seven-day solo trip to St. Petersburg
to attend all six Tampa Rays games during that week as well as to just plain relax, try some new restaurants, etc.
I am not a Rays fan(I am a diehard Sox fan and the Sox are not playing them that week), but they are the best team in baseball,
and the best part is I can and will attend the games for a song as anyone who follows baseball knows, their games are sparsely attended,
meaning that I will simply buy a cheap ticket for around $40 or $50(which would cost about 3-4 times at Fenway) and simply
move up to a better seat an inning or two after the game starts.
I know for a fact that lots of people do this at the Trop!!
My hotel is only a couple of miles from the Trop, which makes getting and leaving there after the game that much simpler!!
Also, if I recall correctly, Lenny lives in that area, and if somehow I should run into him, I will gladly buy him a drink to do my part to soothe
the pain as Trump gets closer and closer to his date with destiny.
That's it!!
ps The one and only way I will return to this thread during the time frame cited is if Trump is devolutioned or dies!!
