U.S. Postal Service police barred Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz from entering two mail sorting facilities in Florida in the early morning hours on Friday, threatening to escort her from the property if she didn't leave.

The Florida Democrat, who sits on the House Oversight Committee, said she aimed to inspect a mail plant in Opa-locka and Northwest Miami-Dade. Wasserman Schultz said union members told her about conditions at the processing centers and shared pictures that showed pallets of undelivered mail marked with a receipt date of "July 23."

Soros Spends Millions to Win Women Voters in Battleground States

Liberal billionaire George Soros is funding a multimillion-dollar effort to turn out women voters for Democrats in battleground states.

Supermajority, a progressive women's group, is launching a $10 million campaign targeting women voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Arizona. Its super PAC is funded almost entirely by Democracy PAC, which is fully funded by Soros. Of the $2.5 million Supermajority has raised so far this cycle, $2 million came from Democracy PAC, Federal Election Commission records show.

Supermajority is just one of the many election projects that Soros has bankrolled this cycle through the Democracy PAC. The financier has pushed $50 million into the Democracy PAC, which is then passed off to liberal groups such as the Nancy Pelosi-linked House Majority PAC, the Chuck Schumer-linked Senate Majority PAC, Planned Parenthood Votes, and the dark money group Sixteen Thirty Fund.

Later this month, Supermajority is launching a national organizing effort called "Supercharge: Women All In" with a virtual event featuring Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.), actress Eva Longoria, and former HUD secretary Julian Castro, Politico reported. The group's website says the event "will bring together thousands of women to laugh, sing, dance, and celebrate women's political power."

Liberal activists founded Supermajority in 2019 to train and mobilize a "community of all ages, races, and backgrounds, to fight for gender equality together." The group's current leadership includes Black Lives Matter cofounder Alicia Garza and former Planned Parenthood head Cecile Richards.

Soros's cash contributes to 2020 efforts set forth by the Democracy Alliance, a powerful donor network the billionaire cofounded. Wealthy liberal donors in the club, which has injected nearly $2 billion into progressive causes since its founding, vowed to pour $275 million into the 2020 elections.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell admitted last week at the “virtual” Jackson Hole symposium that the Fed has undershot its 2% annual inflation target consistently for the last several years.

The Fed is tacitly admitting that its deflationary monetary policy has restrained growth and held down wages.

Now the Fed is promising to aim higher in order to get more dollar liquidity into the economy.

Powell’s 3,000-word address could have been summarized in just one sentence: “President Trump was right; we were wrong.”

Powell has been exalted of late as a sage and some have even suggested that he should be Time Magazine’s Man of the Year.

But for the last several years Trump is the one who has sounded the alarm that the Fed has been too tight, as evidenced by falling commodity prices and long term interest rates (market rates) signaling that expected inflation rates are at half the Fed’s target.

Trump may not be a trained economist, but when it comes to how to create growth, this real estate titan has uncanny instincts.

Democrats are threatening violence if Joe Biden does not defeat President Trump in November, New York Post columnist Miranda Devine said Saturday.

"If you think that they were sore losers in 2016, you ain't seen anything yet. ... Democrats have no intention of accepting defeat at the ballot box," Devine said on "Fox & Friends Weekend."

"Because the scenarios they put together show that actually the Democrat proxies in the street are supposedly peaceful protesters, we've heard that before," she said. "And yet the Republicans are supposed to send in a whole bunch of violent agitators, which is exactly the opposite of what's been happening."

The law professor's comments come amid violence in Democrat-run cities and after Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., and others who attended Trump's Republic National Convention acceptance speech at the White House and afterward were surrounded by angry people.

While Biden himself has condemned rioting and looting, Devine accused Brooks of "pouring gasoline on the fire" at a volatile time in the nation.

"They are being encouraged now by the Democrats to take to the streets by whatever means necessary to make democracy happen, and democracy ... from their point of view is only if Joe Biden wins," she said. "They will not tolerate another Trump win."
