A New York state judge on Monday found Donald Trump in civil contempt of court and ordered him to pay $10,000 a day until he turns over documents that have been subpoenaed by the state attorney general's office.
Attorney General Letitia James had sought the fine as a way to force the former president to turn over documents her investigators say they need as part of their civil probe into the Trump Organization's business practices.
In a pair of tweets, James hailed Justice Arthur Engoron's ruling as "a major victory."

Here is the gist of the other post "the Sheriff) has no response and/or at least one which he believes will fly,
and it is regarding 2000 Mules Peckers:
1) Imo in the eyes of the American Public way too much time has gone by in an absolute sense(17 months) to really be concerned
with this issue anymore and have moved on to more relevant things in their own personal lives.
2) As a corollary to #1 as I see it, most folks are well aware of the other failures of other much-ballyhooed events that I cited
in the previous post such as the Maricopa Audit, LIEdelli's Symposium, the 70 FAILED legal challenges including the
SCOTUS, recounts, etc.
Thus as I see it, at this juncture the overwhelming majority of the American Public is going to have a sigh-here we go again attitude
and not really give a rat's ass as to what the documentary says and alleges to say is fact.
3) Also and as an adjunct to #1 and #2 imo lots of people are going to question the integrity of any material contained therein
for the simple reason that some of the data therein could have very well been altered/ tampered with over the last 17
months in drawing conclusions!!
4) Going back to #1, imo most people are at this point a lot more concerned with stuff like inflation, high-interest rates, Putin/Ukraine
than they are about alleged fraud in the 2020 Election.
5) Also as I see it, the majority of people are going to be a lot more intrigued about the findings from the January 6th Investigation
as it pertains to Trump as it is current news and is supported by lots of facts from interviews with people in a position to know and/or
were witness to Trump's role in this.
In addition, imo anyone who believes that it is coincidental that this "documentary" is being released now at the time
when all of the January 6th material is being released as well as the hearings and is NOT an attempt to divert attention
from January 6th is just plain naive/gullible and unable to accept reality.
