How many of you folks out there who are bitching and complaining about the price of gas every day would like to exchange
places with this guy!!!
To clarify further what I mean here, I offer this:
Anyone who has been around life for a while and in my case a long time realizes that the game of life itself is filled with good
moments, bad moments and some in-between moments, which means that our moods change depending on what happens
on a given minute, day, week, year, etc.
Some of the matters which affect us one way or the other are transient. in nature, meaning that how we feel now may not be how
we feel tomorrow, the next day, etc.
Using the price of gas as an example, of course it affects many people, which is, of course dependent on their own means and how
many miles they drive each day.
Sure it means they have to be a bit more careful and perhaps adjust their budgets accordingly to be able to withstand
this unforeseen negative event.
However as is the case in most aspects of life such as the stock market, history tells is that the financial hardship
will be temporary in nature and sooner or later things will return to normal, which in turn will return or emotional
happiness before this occurred.
In comparison and the other side of the ledger, in the comparison I used with the guy who lost his family, who were
murdered by Putin in Ukraine, this person's sorrow and unhappiness will not be temporary in naturefor obvious reasons,
namely that unlike gas prices and other temporary phenomenon, the lives of deceased loved ones cannot be brought
back to life!!
I don't think it is necessary to go on from here, other than to refer to two operative words here, which define what I am trying
to explain here, namely "relativity" and "perspective!!"
