If one wants to use the one-way criterion of how many people died on January 6 as compared to December 7 and Sept. 11 as how
important what transpired on January 6th, then obviously there is no comparison.
However and more importantly if one chooses to use a broader and much more encompassing manner of looking at the matter,
then it is at least as important if not more important.

Compare that with January 6th which was an attack on our democracy and the manner in which we choose our officials, in this
case by the acting the POTUS, and worse trying to overturn the Election Results of the 2020 Election instigated by and led by the POTUS,
who was legitimately defeated in the Election.

founded and worse, by one of the people who was elected to uphold them!!!

The best comparison I can make is this:
Ask yourself whether it is any less of a crime if someone walks into a convenience store UNARMED and threatens to kill
the clerk if he/she doesn't fork over the money as opposed to someone who walks into the same convenience store with a gun
and displays it and threatens to kill the clerk if he/she doesn't fork over the money whether he actually is going to do so or not.
If the person gets the money and later is apprehended, something tells me that in either instance that if found guilty, the person will
serve jail time.
I am not sure how much longer if any the jail sentence would be for the robber displaying the gun would be as opposed to the one
