I will use the same analogy as I have used before-if someone tries to rob a convenience store and brandishes a gun(or for
that matter doesn't-brandish a gun) and tells the person at the register he will use it if they don't fork over the money and
is foiled by police before he gets the money, should he not be charged because the effort failed??
Imo the same thing applies to Trump but in a much bigger sense because he was trying to pull of a coup d-etat and overturn
the results of a certified election where Biden won and he lost!!
At the very least, this man should be banned from ever being POTUS again and at worst tossed into the slammer
