With Governor Newsom's current trip to China, I am getting a stronger sense than I already had that no matter
what he says, he may be grooming himself to be the possible nominee for POTUS in the 2024 Election and just
waiting for things to play out with Biden and Trump.
Needless to say, that if he did become the nominee and replace Biden, many of the shortcomings attributed to Biden such as his
age, health, mental capacity, and overall ability would no longer apply!!
Imo what I just cited is the prime reason that in the theoretical matchup between Trump and Biden the current polling data
is as close as it is!!
Imo just the big age comparison/difference alone between Newsom as opposed to Biden and Trump would make him a much more
viable candidate to the younger generation of voters!!
Couple that with the fact that physically speaking, he is much more appealing especially to women is also a factor that must be
considered!!
Imo and as I have said before, in the overall perception of many voters, what matters is not just their policies, what they
promise to do, etc. but just as much or in some cases how they are packaged to make them desirable and that includes
the things I just cited!!
