This thing needs to continue tearing through NFL locker rooms the next two weeks. Get it all out of the way so we don't have this garbage effecting rosters (as much) in the playoffs.

it's crazy, hard to bet games early in the week with all this shit going on.

Might just throw darts the final two weeks.

96 NFL players tested positive today - pretty sure the mask does very little and more like nothing
Which was the official position of science until 2020

Wonder what changed sometime between Jan and Mar of 2020?

Anybody?

I just hope they don't pull the plug on the NFL, tooooo much money on the line or it would be shut down.

^ As of Sunday, they said that after 10 days, if feeling fine, you dont even need to take a test

I wonder if thats going to be the same after 5 days?

I also read that (under the new rules) that after 5 days of quarantine, you DONT have to wear a mask if you received your 3rd jab. I told my wife this morning that they keep changing the rules as they go.

Hopefully each new variant gets weaker and weaker.

I know plenty of people who have tested positive in the past 2 weeks (all vaxxed) and luckily nobody has had severe cases where they had to visit the hospital

If you tested positive, supposedly you're supposed to test positive for at least another 90 days so I've been advised to not bother getting tested again

I'm still positive :)

Depends on the test type. You probably could test negative on a rapid one once the viral load diminishes enough, which basically indicates at the very least you're not contagious. PCR or whatever it's called will keep testing positive for a while

I'm feeling great, back at 100% since last Wednesday (maybe Thursday). Only had congestion (albeit severe) for about 5 days

And yes, my PCR test was also positive

I'm guessing those two people had false positives. Based on what I've been told about testing

1) rapid tests are less accurate
2) if you're positive, you can test positive for up to 90 days or so

1) Rapid tests definitely aren't perfect, but pretty safe to say a negative test on one means you're not contagious/shouldn't worry about it.

2) PCR can be positive up to 90 days or so, but more likely way less than that

Pretty sure I am the only one that had COVID 2X - had it in January - pretty sick - 13 day fever - started getting mild symptoms on Christmas - found a friend that had extra at home tests - positive again - the new variant bypasses the vaccine or immunity - but I don't feel anything like the first time
you have family in medicine, no? run that theory by them u will get a different answer
