I agree with every reply - the guys/gals who can stick-around betting are the ones to listen too. As you can see, it is a grind - but more of a labor of love I would think for many of us.

It definitely is a grind. I remember 1 point this season I was up around 10k because of 1 hit parlay, and since then I've been missing in only 1 or 2 in my 7teamers. I hate that feeling, but you eventually get used to it if you have a goal.

I'm going small. Starting with a $500 bankroll.


20 bucks a game max. That's 4% of bankroll which is a little steep, but anything less is hardly worth your while.

I hope you can really,truly understand this. I have been doing this for over 30 something years. Climb on top of your roof and throw off all the money you plan on starting this gambling adventure with, watch your neighbors and their kids scoop up your hard earned money and run away with,and dont forget that feeling in your heart and stomach because if you continue to gamble you will have to experience it a thousand times.


Funny story, but if you've been doing this for 30+ years you must have lost a ton if we are to believe what you just said.

Thanks for all the great advice guys! I'm off to a 13-6 record in the NBA . Hopefully its not just beginners luck! Let's keep on cashing it in!
