Chop, 3 year chart not smiling at me; and don't like the 32% short interest at 6/30. Yesterday or day before could have been combo of NFL news and shorts leaving; but thanks regardless. Will stick with ABBV and MRK in pharmo area for now but will also watch OPK. Prec.

I don’t have any right now but I’ve been keeping up with opk for years .

Bought it at 3 a share and sold at 22 less then 6 months later .

Then the stock fell on hard times but looks like they bouncing back .

There is a thread in the financial section of this forum from way back when when I bought it

CEO has buying insane amounts of stock and the SEC stepped in for pump and dump..stock cratered but it didn't go grey. I'm not sure anything they are currently doing is legit but they seemed to wiggle out of the previous investigation

The CEO was not accused of pumping and dumping OPK it was penny stocks on the OTC market .

The scandal had nothing to with OPK although they had to pay 100k fine .

Frost the ceo of opk paid a 5m fine

I've been looking for stocks down > 40% in 13 weeks, especially hard hit industries, off to a great start. I've been given a second chance to job on the surge I missed in March of 2009, just a little too cautious back then.

But I haven't bought any cheap research companies with upside potential, looking to gamble a little

Picked the wrong stock, should have went with RVMD, it's trading near it's highs now so it doesn't meet my "tanked" criteria

ABBV was another good recommendation which I missed. Probably because it was trading around $ 96, dropped to $ 80, now at $ 107
