D. Lowe, only two non quality start in 10 starts this season.
Last start only 2.1 innings pitched 10 hits, 8 earned.

Last season, when Lowe went less than 5 innings, he bounced back well, in starts after less than 5 innings, he went 24 innings, 10 ER... thats an era of 3.75

Almost no K's. Only 1.8 per start... and 2.7 per 9, by far the lowest of his career .. hasn't been below 5k/9in since 2003. Scary stuff.

His WHIP is highest in his career too. 1.525 WHIP doesn't correlate with his 3-6 record or 3.25 ERA...

Hasn't given up a HR at home this season, and only 3 on the season.

Lowe's last start against MIN Complete game 9 innings, 6 hits, 0 K's 4 BBs. That was his first meeting against MIN since 2010, and hasn't faced the twins since 2006 before that. I'm inclined to believe that alot of this success against MIN was just because they haven't seen him. The fact they seen him very recently, edge to Min hitters. Particularly since Lowe is allowing a batting average against of over 300 this season

Injuries: Hafner, Santana, Hannahan all out (3 out of 9 starters out of this game) not to mention Sizemore who has been out all year.

Thanks for that.

hey jaguara. donate 5k to doctors without borders and forget about this stupid parlay. then you'll prove you arnt whoring.

Who's the attention whore, the guy who's giving $5K out for the fun of it,
or the forum idiot who's the only one making a big stink out of it for no good
reason?

$5000 for one person is better than $100 to 50. What impact will $100 have on someone? None.

Anyway I wouldn't give anything away. Keep your money and withdraw from wherever you are. It's easy to get in the gambling high. Take it out now and don't give anything away.

Jaguara states he's kinda superstitious. When he donates to charity he's been winning. He obviously believes this type of gesture may help in keeping his hot streak going.

Good luck, i hope you guys win. Who's know if this hit tonight Jag will probably post another similar give away.

If the parlay wins, maybe Jag could also give away 100 dollars to the LAST person who ever posts in this thread?

I would go with the Nats and Strasberg the first 5 innings. Don't have to worry about the bullpen and the Stras man will get out the hitters. Besides, I could use the 5 g's. Would lean towards the Tigers over the Yanks though!

AWFUL weather here in VA. not sure about DC. but wouldn't be surprised a rain delay in this game. I wouldn't play it for that reason alone. could force strausburg out early

Alright, alright. I know what I'm rooting for.

Off to buy a 12-pack of Mexican beer and have a fun evening of watching scores.

I know nothing about baseball but Nats seem too good to be true tonight. Them/ATL have been similar caliber this year, they got their best P by far on the mound and ATL has a dude who won't be in the rotation in 2 weeks.

Okay so I threw a curve ball at ya. Took Celtics as the 3rd play. Yikes! Against D Wade and that other even bigger monster Lebron James who can either score or get to the line at will. I'll probably regret it but it's locked in.

I'll take C.C over a lefty rookie against the Yanks.

Celtics, if they have any pride, and I know they do, they will fight to the last second and the refs will be giving them all the borderline calls I'm sure. As long as Miami's bench players don't go nuts, Lebron and Wade can get theirs but Celtics can still win. The key to this game is Rondo. He's got to accept the responsibilty of stepping up big time again and being that extra thing that propels them to a win. Garnett and Pierce will do their thing.
