Other than the obvious, there is something wrong with this story...
How are you a $50 player and then try to bail out w/ a 2 team parly for 1k? Granted you won, why would you do such a thing? hno:
I'm not sure that's true. I would certainly not claim that the post was in anyway helpful. Obviously it was a mistake but your post was unkind.
Probably $4,500 of that was money i had won in sports and the casino. Will they refund the net loss only?

lose 7k playing online blackjack by not knowing when to stop , and then come to a gambling forum for help ...
i have a buddy who's an alcoholic .. he heads to the local pub for help..

WNO: I'm sure Grog is mourning his loss, and licking his wounds. Rubbing it in won't help him.
I think he learned his lesson, and disabling the casino function... as I suggested.... is at least constructive criticism.
Your point is valid, and I know you are a good guy.
There is no reason to play online casino games for big money, you have no edge, we all know that SHIT.
If you cannot resist.... then you should not gamble, period.
It's one thing to play $10 on online BJ, on a whim, and quite another to blow 7k doing it !
If you have to take this away from yourself, you have a problem, IMO ! I probably haven't played this stuff in a year+, but would only do it for chump change, anyways.
I bet $50 a game usually. I've had a good month betting sports and playing online blackjack.
In any case I lost 7k last night playing online blackjack. I know this happens to a lot ofpeople. It's happened to me before. It's different from the actual casino somehow and can be more dangerous.
Obviously with the beer and the percoset a 7K loss is a big deal to a $50 bettor.
I lost the 7k and then put my last $1,000 on a parlay for Wash pk/ under 21.5 first half. Then I went to bed. Ended up getting some of it ($2,784)back with that gigantic parlay and I'll just have to live with the loss as I'm not looking to chase.
I pride myself on betting under control and this was an obvious loss of control.
How big was your online bj/chasing mistake? What keeps you from betting more than you should?
