I am a professional sports bettor and I have investments in real estate. For a large majority of my life i have also been on the bookmaking end, which to be honest I know people could deem unethical. As it applies to Johnny demarco, all I would like to see from him is a little objectivity. I am man enough to admit that I have done a multitude of things that my parents were not proud of. and yes, one of the biggest things that plays with my conscience is the fact that I have hurt people along the way as a bookmaker. I have seen people lose, lose, lose, and should have stopped them. I always justified that they would just lose it somewhere else, which i think on my part was lame. I would never try to purport that I am better than anyone. I only wanted to incite a debate as to whether what DEMARCO and PRICE did was ethical. Once again, I am not saying I am better than those guys as I have done plenty i am not proud of. I only wish Demarco or Price would concede that they too have hurt plenty of people along the way.
