If I was booking it, which I'm not, I'd be cautious. I can't possibly have an opinion on everything from Tennis to Soccer, plus USA sports. If I'm getting +110, I can lay it off at -110 or better. Last minute bets would be a problem, so I'd have low limits.buddy m said:Some of the answers just knock me off the chair. There are some very knowledgeable people on this forum but i guess the gambling degenerate must move some of them ,.Just because a number moves, does not mean the Holy Grail is that side. Being on the other side of the table for 30 years, it astounds me to see how some clone B/M shops stay in business. They must have awfully deep pockets.I have never moved on air and never will , however it probably would have saved a, lot this year if i had. I will move for injuries, key players out at the last minute, but never because Billy or anyone else likes that side. This has not been a good year, a lot like 1989 when the group tore everybody up. This has been a year of the sucker, however i dont know that anyone can be classified as a sucker anymore. Not with all the advantages that everyone has now. More later, back to work Buddym
I could operate like Grande, offer only major sports, and late, but my limits would be low. No reason to play at my book. I'd operate it within my means, but you'd get a better deal elsewhere. I'd pay you, when you won, because I booked properly. I'd be OK for the guys at the bar wanting no more than $500 action. I don't want to be the local bookie. I prefer being player.
How do I collect from my customers if I'm the local ? I can't go around breaking thumbs. I don't want that end of this business.
