Alright, but playing LSU at home in the Swamp opposed to playing in Baton Rouge are totally two different things. You might see them struggle a little bit with South Carolina next game since they SC has #3 defense in the country and can shut down the pass and run. Also looking forward to the UF/FSU game in Tallahassee before I put any money on this game.

thank you very good post!! you guys wanna know the main reason the average bettor lose money? is because we handicap offenses instead of defenses...or we put more stock in our offensives handicaps...we has humans instinctively love offense, touchdowns, scoring, excitement...yes but thats only part of game! lol....we dont want to take to time to look at matchups in trenches(line of scrimmage)...we dont want to waste our time looking at defensive rush stats and defensive pass stats. or how a defense looks in 2nd, 3rd and 4th downs ("for example the tcu/utah game this week. people knew tcu had good defense because of media. so automatically thought tcu was easy play. but the average bettor failed to research that utah has just a good of defense has tcu")...these are where games are won and lost, but they are not pretty....they dont attract our human instincts (what we see with the eyes)....were lazy. we just like to go to website, look at 'scores/schedules'....and be like this team beat this team by this many points, who lost/beat this team by that many points, so therefore so and so will win the game! and thats all we look at haha....keep doing that and youlll be broke and unhappy. defense defense and the line of scrimmage...theyre not pretty. but thats where bama has advantage over anyone in nation and thats why theyll win....but dont listen to me. pretty soon posters will be posting their anti-bama transactions in this thread :)

Ummm....Bama's defense got run over yesterday. LSU rushed for over 200 yards on that group, and UF will run W I L D on them. Bama has NO chance of beating Florida.....none.

My team lost to both of them and I can tell you without hesitating that UF will monkey fuck and skull drag Bama.

Bama has one receiver that is worth a shit. Granted, that guy is a dawlin, but they have nobody else that is clutch. Bama's QB is a joke waiting to be exposed and UF's DB's are just the team to do it to him. If you thnk UF looks fast in the Swamp, well watch the fuck out when they get on that track in Atlanta......good god! Bama's defense is going to give up more than 40 to the Gators....so if you think Bama can score 30 on UF, then bet with all your Gump money.

I'll give anyone 7 points right now and take all the action you want to give on Bama.

UF 42-14

Are you sure you have any money left after all of your bets against alabama this year?

thats because lsu mostly had bad field position lol...so wed give up yards until around the 50. then stiffen up and shut them down when needed to...did you watch game bud...about how many possessions are in a game? ok how many times did lsu score?? ok now do the math, if youre smart enough...and 2/3 was because of offensive mistakes. one a turnover. another a bullshit celebration penalty...again paying attention to offensive stats (what looks good to eyes) not researching game before you post....perfect example fellas

Alabama does not have an exceptional defense. Better than average -- maybe -- but don't insult TCU by even hinting that 'Bama is in the same category, or even close to it.

The Tide has played an extremely weak schedule (ranked 58th by Sagarin, just ahead of Utah and SMU) and have played only one team with a pulse on offense. They gave up 30 to Georgia team in that one.

Florida is the one team in the SEC with a truly potent offense, and it's a good one. A very, very good one. The Gators will be the first real offense the Tide has seen in 2008 and shutting down Tennessee, Tulane and Arkansas State just isn't preparation.

If Alabama can stay within two touchdowns I'll be surprised.

There are still two creampuffs left on the Alabama schedule between now and their season's judgment day, though. Enjoy those wins.

Before everyone is ready to take Florida, allow UF to beat FSU first as others have said.

Florida is playing very well, but Bama has not failed once. Does that mean they are better than teams with 1 loss, no. However, when you get into November and are undefeated in any BCS conference you are a legit team. To discount Bama based on the stats against LSU, is just plain dumb.

Florida's most impressive victory to date is against UGA in a neutral site game. Alabama's best victory is also over UGA, at their place. Also don't discount the Clemson win based on their record, that loss sent them into the tailspin. The UGA game is the only game where Bama let up more than 21 points. You could even argue some of those points came as direct result of the blowout and UGA throwing against Bama playing a prevent.
Yes, Bama has played close games just like OSU in '02 and Florida in '06. Alabama is never going to be the type of team that is going to go out and beat teams by 50. Doing that has actually hurt OU in the past as they don't react well when the game that get tight in the 4th quarter and they have shown that over the past several years.

Florida's defense is very underrated, as I would put them as one of the best defenses in the country. However, they have also not been in many close games, actually only 1 and they lost that game. Florida is a great team, with great talent and tremendous special teams and overall speed.
However, don't discount what Bama's defense will do vs UF with Saban at the helm.

Not saying the Florida can't or won't cover, but as someone stated defense wins championships. I can sit here and list numerous teams, but if you have defense and can run the football you can win games, just as Tennessee in the NFL.

Just don't assume because Florida can score they roll. Remember when OU was supposed to be the greatest team ever in '03 and lost by 28 to KSU in the Big 12 title game. Everyone was shocked when Bama beat UF in (I think '93) SEC title game. As all Conference championships have shown us anything can and will happen.

ok we all know through proof and watching games over the years that DEFENSE win champinships....so people are willing to bet against ALABAMA's defense who hasnt failed, but not willing to bet against floridas offense who has failed (ole miss game) :think2: haha

Floridas Defense is overshadowed by the many weapons they have on offense

but fact is Alabamas Defense is a hair better then Floridas if at all

now you were saying how important Defense is, indeed

Floridas offense may be slowed down but not stopped.

So the real question is how many points will Alabama score? 17?

You have been wrong all year and showing how little you know about Alabamas roster.
Your 5 star pick Clemson all over Alabama,Georgia will destroy Alabama,"Bama in the top 10 is a terrible joke","Andre Smith is overated and we will see this by end of the year"-guy will be top NFL pick and you say he is overated.:nohead:

BAMA NT terrence cody - while slowed by a lingering MCL injury and not on his A game in the LSU game - provides a perfect foil for the zone read and Tebow. he'll be 100% ready come early december.

when Bama and UF meet, it's going to be one helluva hard-hitting game where all players leave it on the field.

i am looking forward to this one. remember 1992!?:103631605

People are forgetting a few things:

1. Florida peaking at the wrong time.
2. Must play Steve Spurrier in big emotional game and good defense. Spurrier doesnt want Meyer to get a 2nd title and pass him by.
3. Must play at rejuvenated FSU in HUGE rivalry game. FSU playing good football this year and they are TIRED and PISSED from all of the shit they have taken from Gator fans over the years. This is a big statement game for them to show they are back. Very hostile environment here.
4. Must play against a disrespected undefeated #1 Bama team. 90% of the tickets for the SEC Title game were awarded to BAMA. It will be a Bama sellout crowd practically, and a severely pissed off disrespected Bama team vs. a Florida team off an emotional road game at FSU the week before. Last time Bama played in the Georgia Dome earlier this year they dominated Clemson. Bama has always been a thorn in the Gators side in SEC Title games.
5. Must play an extremely explosive Big 12 team for all of the marbles.

This 4-game stretch Florida plays, will be MUCH more difficult than any stretch any team has played to date INCLUDING TEXAS. This is only 1 home game. 3 road/neutral site games vs. PISSED off disprespected rivals or QUALITY, LEGIT teams.

There looks to be another loss in there somewhere for FL, maybe 2. Just way too tough to play that many road/neutral site games vs. that many quality opponents back to back to back with all of the emotion that will be on the table.

Where did you hear #4? Alabama for sure didn't get any where close to 90% of the SECC tickets. Fans from every team that have season tickets in the SEC can apply for SECC game...I know plenty of Georgia fans with a ticket to the game right now and any one can buy a ticket online from the brokers. There will be a hell of alot more then 10% Florida fans with the proximity of Atlanta that is guaranteed.

Why would Alabama get 90% of the tix?I wish it were true but its not.I have been to all the Bama/Florida games in the dome I would say usually its about 60/40 bama crowd due to the shorter distance.
