yea ... USC is the play regardless of the outcome. I can't see any logical reason to be on Ohio St.

Not trying to be a dick, but come on guy... "IF you like money?" Then you trademark it? Good god man...

You get obliterated in bases this year by posting this nonsense week in and week out. Just post your picks and stop acting like some dumbass tout. GL with your picks though.

You failed in your attempt of not being a dick. Let the man post the way he wants to post and if you don't like it, keep quiet and go somewhere else.

JB....keep up the great work and thanks for the efforts.

One thing that concerns me about the USC game is that it opened at -4.5 and it's -7 almost everywhere now. Everybody and their brother likes this game, kind of like the Minnesota/Syracuse game last week.

Unlike last week where everyone put their money on a bad minny team...this week the money is going on a proven powerhouse USC. Part of my angle is Pete Carrol vs Trushell. I take Pete to get his guys ready and devise a better gameplan everytime. Now whether they execute or not is why the play the games, but I really like the trojans here.

I like money. And I love that play. It's the first time I pounded an opener before, got it at 5 and 6.

wdmcleod: no real choice on the michigan st game. The NC/Uconn game should be a tough one, but I have a slight edge to Uconn

twinax: agree

da_hustla: At first, I really liked GT, but the more I look into it, the more I like Clemson. Probably a no play for me at this point.

Blue54: thanks and good luck to you.

VegasVick: I agree with Right-Side. We are betting on a quality team compared to Minnesota last week.

Nicky49: I am betting against both of them small.

Mighty Ginseng: Thanks and good luck

cashflow50: I agree. Go Ducks! They might be a big play depending on the line movement

Hey Jbragg, what do you think about GTech (-5) against Clemson

I do like Ga Tech, but I'm with JB in that it's going to be a close match. I also think -5 is too high. I'm thinking about the over on that game.

Agreed, with piss-poor O-line and poor stops against the run
against a veteran run team, can someone give me a reason
how OSU will cover USC? They did nearly lose to Navy who stopped them on 4th down

You are an idiot....Bragg killed it in bases this year....he hit a little bad run for a few days that I remember, but other than that was money....

Check his stats in bases, before you start running your man pleaser...because that only leaves you looking like the idiot...GL with your picks though...

Hey Jbragg, what do you think about GTech (-5) against Clemson

Be careful on this GT -5. Clemson should have won this game last year, which was the first game as coach for Swinney, after he replaced Bowden mid-year. Losing that game was big last year, and believe me, they will bring it all Thursday night. This could shape Clemson's season right here, and it's a statement game.
Last week vs MTSU, Clemson's gameplan was as vanilla as it could be, and this was their plan. QB Kyle Parker was only 9 or 20 in his first college start, but he also had 4 drops, one which would have been a TD, and 2 others that would have gone for 1st downs, which would have extended the drive. Spiller only played sparingly, after returning the opening kickoff 96 yards for a TD, and another punt for 50 yards...then Jacoby Ford had a punt return TD as well.
Look for Clemson to open it up a little vs GT.

On defense, Clemson is loaded with talent... if they stay disciplined and keep containment, they will be able to handle GT... nobody is going to stop that running game, but they should be able to contain it, and limit any huge gains.

I really believe Clemson wins this game, and may play a small wager on the ML, but i'll take the 5 points any day. If they do lose, I see this coming down to a 3-4 point game, so we'll take the 5 points to the bank!

Weathermen don't predict weather based on if it rained 4 of the last 5 Thursdays. Last year doesn't matter. If last year mattered, Oregon would have beat Boise last week.

And as far as saying "trust me, they will bring it all": is that the best way to play this? It sounds like you are playing with your heart and not your mind.

Not calling you out, even though it probably sounds like I am. I am not saying one way or another on this game, just simply pointing out that those two things you said really don't matter. Notice I didn't quote everything you said, just a couple sentences.

I understand what you are saying....last year doesn't matter....different players, etc. I am just saying that I know that the players that are still here this year, that lost that 1st game last year under Coach Swinney, they are extra motivated to get this win from what I am hearing from there....That is why they are "gonna bring it all"....
Does that make the difference in the game, no. Personally, that always kinda pisses me off when I hear that they are really going to bring it... hell, shouldn't they bring that same intensity every week???

At any rate, no, I am not simply betting with my heart. I am a pretty firm believer in not betting my favorite team.... sometimes, I'll throw them in a little teaser or something as a small play for shits and giggles, but I rarely bet my own team, especially a large play...due to that fact that you can get caught up in betting big with your heart.

Like I said, I see them winning this game, but will gladly take the 5. Good luck!
