For him to set that aside so he can pose for photo ops in Wash DC as "someone who is Really, Really Concerned" is a slap in the face to those millions of Americans who thought they could trust him to stay the course and deliver 100% to these important final six weeks.

A vote is a vote. besides you don't mix congressional matters with presidential politics. To come in and cast a vote doesn't dictate suspending a campaign. They've got big enough planes.

Its common sense Shred. All of em are going to use these descriptions of the economy. but in reality do you see any of the banks with signs saying, "NO MORE MORTGAGES. NO MORE CREDIT! NO MORE LOANS!"

Its a fucking photo op and nothing more. Besides as democrats are hinting they're close to a solution. So for McCain to show up and raise his arms half way up to wave don't mean he fucking fixed it.

Voters are smarter than that. Especially since he called a timeout when EVERYONE IN THE FREE WORLD WAS WAITING FOR FRIDAY.
