Congrats Seer on a very good call.
SF covering the entire game and couldn't hold on. That's life in the NFL.
Sorry for the bad call. Glad Seattle is going to the big one but wanted the cover.
Wouldn't say it was a bad call at all. As you said, SF covered for pretty much the entire game, they basically outplayed Seattle for most of it, and had a couple of unlucky items go against them. Most importantly, if not for a fluke deep 4th-and-8 touchdown to a receiver who barely does anything, and wasn't even known until a handful of weeks ago, the 49ers are still in control of this game and are in good position to add to their lead... yes, there was offsides on that 4th-and-8 anyway, but San Francisco easily could have contained them on the should-have-been 4th-and-3, and even if they don't, Seattle's lackluster-up-to-that-point offense still had to go another 20 or 30 yards into the endzone, which at that very point, seemed highly unlikely.
No need to apologize or say it was a bad call. You have a good track record with these and even though it didn't produce a victory, it was not a bad call AT ALL. Nobody made a bad call with this game; it's just one of those matchups that is one play from going the other way. And when a game like this is so intensely-fought and is one play from going in the other direction, nobody involved made a bad call at all.
