If you are beating the closing numbers this year in CBB, the last month has been bad!

Yeah, it was bad early but I made a push late and finished 12-11, -0.10 units. You know you're in a downswing when losing small feels like you're making progress.

I played my games early Sat morning (4am). My winning parlay, would have been a lose had I played closer to game time.

It pays to play the early numbers

Awesome. It's a good feeling to put in the work and turn a profit.

The early bird gets his W

But please don't go losing it on blackjack. ;)

Been there .. done that! If been at this game for too long, and have learned my leassons the hard way.

Going from the high's on picking solid winner, to a low when I give it all back playing rigged BJ. In all my years, I've only won once playing online BJ ... so very not worth it in my opinion.

People can say it over and over (and they have) but their is always one guy who falls for the trap and gets crushed and loses his hard earned winning. I think the only way people with learn, is if they actually do try and lose it all.

Learning from ones mistakes is one of lifes best lessons. :103631605

Were you in a rut prior to today Rude?

Yes and No. I havent had much time to cap games (ie college hoops), but the last month I've had some free time. Over the years, I've noticed I go through streaks. Can't hit a game if my life depended on it, and then I can't pick a loser. Its really odd/amazing. I just try and take advantage of when the streak hits .. and try to get out before it starts to cool.

This week things have just gone my way. Every big parlay I hit this week, certain games just started falling my way.

Example: OT needed for teams to cover/or my overs to come in. Shit like that. It's unreal.

Like they say .. it's bettet to be lucky than good sometimes. This week .. it's so true.

Ya, Saturday was frustrating as I sat around all day and night and finish (-564). What a waste of a day. Had a small winning day y-day but the big winning days havent come in about 2 weeks. Nice you had a good one Rude.

Anyways, here is where my numbers stand ( i know we will all be totally different) for the month.

SIDES: 130-135 (49%)

TOTALS: 273-261 (51%)

Couple this with December........

Sides: 158-143 (52.5%) and Totals: 267-260 (51%)

and I have wasted two months of my life!!! Lol.

Hopefully we close strong the last week here and make a nice run through February.

Call me crazy but.....Im really starting to believe some of these books are toying with us on certian games.......nothing like whats going on has happened like this the last three years. Line moves 2 points one way then 2 minutes later it is back to where it was.

it like they are jigging a bait to get more aciton by moving those lines up and down 1 - 2 points... interesting angle.

Glad you noticed it Try so at least Im not going crazy myself.

Its the same thing every night with 2-3 games or so......line moves one way 2 points then bang back the other way 2 points within minutes.

I can see buybacks after the game has moved 5-6 points from opener but whats going on lately clearly isnt the case.

Sure Akillies it can be what you said, but just not the way its been going down lately IMO.

And again.....Texas/Baylor banged both ways. In fact, every game with a 2 point move or more bounced back to where it was within minutes.........something fishy definitely going on here IMO.

5-6 points? A line hasn't moved 5 points in 5 years.

It's probably just some sharp action that takes a lead while predicting line movement, and then buys back because they have no real opinion. I don't know what the book has to gain by moving and then moving back for no reason.
