Sadly, this is the part of the ballgame where HinesWard hits a rut and tears his ACL, putting him out for the season. As I was saying, there is hardly a nation in the world whose territorial boundaries have not been subject to dispute, or claims that they were stolen from someone else. The fact this neverending bloody conflict has dragged on, accentuates not the 'grievances' from either party, nor does it the separate the right from wrong depending on who's falg you're carrying, rather it exposes the nature of the enemies who refuse -- absolutely refuse -- to lay down their arms and negotiate a lasting peace. And who exactly is this enemy? Who is waging war against Israel? Surely not the Palestinian people. The Palestinian people (and now the Lebanese people) are nothing more than pawns being used by the Islamofascists. Hezbollah places their missiles in private homes of civilians, using them as shields (as Saddam placed hospitals around his anti-aircraft artilery; as Iran is doing with their nuke facilities in civilian areas) because they understand Israel and their allies, do not subscribe to their own putrid Islamofascist, inhumane, barbaric, ideaology. I feel sorry for the Palestinian and Lebonese people – I really do. For decades, Iran and Syria (as well as Saddam’s former Iraq; Osama Bin Laden; The Nobel peace Prize poster boy, Yasser Arafat) through their terrorist proxies, hijacked the Palestinian cause, in the name of advancing this cancer of Islamofascism. However many 'grievances' the Palestinians may have, the culprits waging this war (non-Palestinians) need to be destroyed, first. Giving the long suffering Palestinian people, an area and system government which allows them to prosper while peacefully co-existing with their Jewish neighbors, is the easy part. Israel is more than prepared to do that. The "international community" is more than prepared to play the role of "honest broker." The Palestinian people want peace -- at least those who haven't been brainwashed by the forces of jihad: Palestinian CHILDREN used as weapons in blowing up pizza parlors in downtown Tel-Aviv. The Israeli people want peace. Yet there can be no peace until those who want peace lay down their weapons. Therefore, there can be no peace until the powers who usurped the Palestinian cause in the name of their own sick totalitarian evil, are pulverized. And each time the Brits drew these boundaries, even while the Jews were getting the short end of the stick, they accepted the terms -- just like today. The Arabs did not -- just like today. They squabbled, complained, accused, back-stabbed and engaged in their typical cultural hobby of polished yet unsettling faux-machismo, playing the victim, while committing themselves to campaigns of hate -- just like today. It hasn't changed since. So you see, HW, if one goes back far enough, the Jews were never responsible for any of current Bedouin Arab (Palestinian) misery. The truth? Who cares. None of this matters today. If you've been following along, you couldn't help but notice the irony: the Islamofascists today see this as an opportunity to inject a divisive wedge into the region on the backs of the very people their ancestors, screwed over not so long ago; the poor wandering Arab farmers, who later became, "Palestinians."
