Look, every other country envy's America! Freedom comes at a price.

Freedom is grand but it shouldn't come at a price to EVERYONE else. Think about this.
What if:
My freedom means near-starvation conditions for someone across the world.
This person knows that their sacrifice is my gain.
They are rightfully angered my my usurpation of will ("freedom" as we often call it, but its more like Nietzsche's 'Will to Power')
This person then stikes back at me, the 'reason' for their ills.

If i hit a man, how can i turn and complain when he strikes me back?
My freedom should not come at a price. For if it does, it is no longer freedom.

Radio?

I'm curious.

How old are you?

Not a slam either way, just would be much easier for me, when I conside your opinions.

Thanks

you call it:

OV 25
UN

But it really doesn't affect the punch-for-punch theory here...Saddam hasn't "hit" us.
Either way, at age 24 or 44, I would still hold the same opinion.

42..and it would appear we are at different places in our lives.

Since we are asking questions, how about this one.

Are you, or were you ever a citizen of the united states? ( or given up your citizenship ? )

And if no to any, what country are you a citizen of ?

thanks

I was born in Falls Church, Virginia. My citizenrship is unquestionably US.

Do you ask because its now un-american to express criticism/dissent?
Or is it mere curiousity that calls forth this feline?

Neither really.

It's just when I see another persons views, that are completely opposite from mine, I like to know "where they are coming from"

Do you not agree, that a persons place in life ( birthplace, age, experiences), dictates many of his/hers views ?

And no, I am not one of those people that consider the questioning of our government, "unAmerican ". It is on that very basis this our government was founded.

my apologies then regarding the matter of "dissent"...
It just seems to be such a common misnomer that most who question are labeled "unamerican"
But yes, I would agree. Where you come from has much to do with where you're going...
