Of course you have the Lakers...:toast:

Two issues I have with this... I never bet on a team to repeat. Even if a team is as stacked as the Lakers it is just plain hard to do. Second, the last thing I'll ever do is root for the Lakers. Gonna have to pass Viejo.

I swear the Indiana Pacers would have won it all the season they had the brawl with the Pistons.

At that time Ron Artest was probably one of the top 10-15 players in the NBA. Now, I'm not so sure about him.

But good for L.A. if it makes KOBE and the fans happy.

Cavs were not the best team last year. They got there ass spanked twice by LA. Gasol and Odom would have destroyed cavs in the paint like they did in both games last year.

lakers lost to the bobcats both times last year. is Charlotte the best team by sweeping the champs?

cavs had best record = best team

lakers win finals = nba champs

i am a laker fan but that was a bad analogy od

Why would best record mean best team but NBA champs doesn't? They're both opinions, however, I think its pretty safe to say LA was better than Cle last year...

I am comparing 2 teams that were seperated by 1 reg season game. I am not comparing 2 teams with very different records 1 which did not make the playoffs and had a losing record(Char).

When 2 teams have close to identical records then the best way to see who is better is to see who won head to head and who went further in the playoffs. Lakers were better in both.

1 team beats the other team twice and wins the championship and yet the loser is the best team b/c they won 1 more reg season game. Sorry that does not make any sense. 1 reg season game is not shit when u play 82 games.
