Russ,

To say that EWINNER pays out like clockwork when several gamblers were slow paid one week, and others were not paid is laughable...

Also, EWINNER was NOT trashed here for MONTHS as you stated, so please stop twisting words in order to taunt this site...

If you REALLY want to help gamblers, then try posting here in a respectful manner...

This type of thread serves no purpose but to suit your own selfish agenda...

Ken, fair enough. One question though...where is your dramatic post about homebets coming off the list and going completely broke??? I must have missed it. You seem to also have missed the whole point of this thread. Not one comment about homebets. But oh well, cant teach an old dog

Patrick, books on MW will go broke and books on RX will go broke....from here to eternity. It is the way that we handle them that counts.

I had two people email me, I am away on vacation. I cannot find a post about the subject, and all of a sudden all of "Kens Men" have their tonugues cut off the same day.

I would have called you Patrick, perhaps I should have but the cost is 4 bucks a minute from here

When one of the players told me that the book was on the site for a month without the link working and no phones either I did not beleive it. I still do not and told him so.

Great news that Royal is taking care of the players.!!!!! Good Stuff!!!

Major,

I don't profess to be a lawyer but I would assume that you and Ken have yet to remove books off your sites that shouldn't or don't want to be there are related to contracts either written or verbal.

By this I mean that should Homebets re appear by some act of god and they had a contract that was paid in full for advertising and didn't get it then Ken would be in breach, now the fact that the link is dead and nobody can get ahold of Homebets makes it easier for Ken to ride out the contract length, if that was the case. Just as you refuse to take down your link for BHB even though they have stated that they want nothing to do with your site, removing them without something in writing would be a breach of contract on your behalf as well.

Just my opinion.

BHB has never once asked me to remove them from the site at in any formal way. They know my number and they know my email address. I don't generally conduct business in a public forum and I supect they learned the lesson the hard way.

Homebets.

Here is a tough question HTC, if a book is closed and has stopped ansering the phones at what point would you take them down if they had a 2 year deal? In two years?

Excellent little "team "post though HTC. Nearly had me

Nice to see Patrick is working on a few bail out plans. I expected nothing less from him. He is a good guy when the players are involved. Shame the owner of the site, the same owner that had diahrea of the mouth when it came to ewinner all of a sudden found a bottle of kaopectate.

What a fake you are Major. What do you call your posting about Rio becuase they would not advertise with you? I suppose that was not business related.

Every time you post you define diahrea of the mouth.

Good thing is so many are witness to it.

Russ not sure what you meant by "Team" post, maybe you could elaborate, but before you do please note that the fact that I post more at the RX then at your site has no bearing on whether I take you or Ken to task on something I don't agree with.

Now seeing as you have taken the time to answer my question, please answer this one. During the Dos attacks why didn't you allow links or phone numbers to be posted, I would think thats more important then DellDude Suicide Genocide Parlay specials don't you?

Sorry guys, Russ is offline.. he's been hit and run lately. This is none of my business, but I'm going to throw in my 2 cents anyway.

General, not sure why everyone keeps saying that about Russ badmouthing Rio for not advertising. If you do a search at MW for The Major (author) and Rio (subject), you will see that aside from assuring a player asking why they weren't "up top" anymore was simply advertising. No digs, no barbs. It wasn't til 5 or 6 months later he even mentioned them again, and that post was also just matter of fact. I checked and double checked and that was all I saw. If you have something else please let me know. I hate "search".

HTRC, It was requested by the BOOKS that we not publish their alternate URLS, because it was feared that the hackers were reading the forums. I don't think phone numbers were ever "hidden" or withheld? When forum members asked for contact information it was sent to them via MW private message or MSN im when possible.

Minnow thanks for the response. I can understand the URL thing as thats only logical. But if memory serves me correct I beileve I saw two links removed that had only phone numbers, that is what I am seeking clarification on. If they weren't thats one thing but if they were then thats not copasetic in my book.

Thanks for the opinion Minnow. I think this from Rios post on the matter.

Dear loyal RX forum readers and Rio/Skybook customers:

The bottom line here is that Rio/Skybook/IIS was one of his top advertisers two years ago. We paid him a lot of money to be on his site. However, due to the fact that his site is so small, and so nominal in terms of credibility, so poor in terms of return on investment, the company decided to pull its advertising, along with a multitude of other advertisers. When advertisers pull their ads from this broke individual, he attempts to extort them to bring them back. In other words, he makes you think that if you don't re-up with him, that he will badmouth you and ruin your company.

Sounds like Majors style to me. Any person who does not respect the right of privacy and confidentiality would do this as well.

Intuition Bet anyone that puts an iota of credibility to a single word you post is a phucking nitwit.

Royal is still taking bets and paying winners you uniformed low life fear pandering piece of crap.

Maybe if you bend over far enough and remove your bulbous head from your ass. You'll get a grip on how the venture capital world works and that every phucking thing you cite as evidence of sure doom, is likewise evidence of an owner taking control of a business.

Still here even after the parasites took their customer list.

Still here after a scumbag managed to post ad nauseum over and over again about how they are immently doomed.

Good faith money? Who the phuck are you? Called sunk costs in a failed M&A deal. Think the dutchmen pulled a fast one on the sharpest operator in this hemisphere.

And still you blather on and on, moron.

Easy for you to say after collecting all that QUID from the fine TAX PAYERS of the STATE of Calif.

I really don't think so HTRC. Like everybody else we were trying to help the books as much as possible.

General, that's all well and good but in all fairness that quote from Rio came after Russ posted that they were in debt. I sincerely doubt they would come in here and say, darn it.. and we liked that guy too.. got tons of business off his site, etc. I take anything I hear with a grain of salt once somebody has a beef with a forum. That goes both ways. Don't think MW doesn't hear cracks when books leave here.

ANYWAY, I'm really not here to defend Russ or MajorWager. I know people get irritated when Russ posts here, and probably me too. Though I wouldn't have posted it myself, what he says makes a valid point, no?

Not very long ago Ken was offering, what.. 100k bets that Homebets was alive and well in Antigua, or Curacao or whatever? Then for a month, no reply to post after post about them being in Mexico and finally totally disappearing, and apparently stiffing. No response except "They don't advertise here anymore" when they are finally taken off recommended list weeks after the inquiries.

I told Patrick once I would avoid threads with book issues, so I'm sorry for jumping in here.

No need to be sorry Minnow. Your participation is appreciated. According to Major it is all forum games, so I guess we are just playing monopoly here. There is not anyone who doesn't see there is a problem with Homebets. The issue here is why call a guy out on it when only trying to stir trouble. The thought that Major is Just Concerned about players does not fly.

I've come to a conclusion of homebets while experiencing non-access to the site for the past month and I have approx. 75 dollars with them

I agree here, Minnow your welcome to post in any thread you see fit. When Russ posted that family matters are way more important then these "Forum Games" it opened up my eyes to what these posts really are, its a game it can not be taken to serious I see them in a new light. I do not understand it all but to each his own.
