imagine you’re on the jury... to convict someone of murder you have to prove intent and causation.
medical experts aren’t even sure he was killed by the knee to the neck, but you think a jury will say beyond a reasonable doubt that it was the knee and not the fatal dose of drugs? Good luck...
jurors are morons and easily swayed, see the OJ Simpson verdict, but if the jurors do the job properly, they likely will have to acquit because there is not clear cut proof of causation.
