We have full info on the case now. We know this for sure had zero to do with race. If it did they wouldn't have tried so hard to get him into the car. He said "I can't breathe" before he was on the ground. The knee on him likely was not the cause of death even though it was ridiculous.

Not out of the ordinary to think he will not be convicted. More likely a plea deal or such for a light sentence? I would think he would get something just based on the bad optics

Only if we ALLOW the riots....which will take on a life of their own if TweedleDee Biden
is president when they happen.

However, I doubt there's an acquittal. More likely a conviction on lesser charges.

It was a movie, prepared for the voters to see; then mass propagnda, supported 100% by the media-press-Hollywood-social media giants.
Boom.
To the public, Chauvin was tried and convicted of murder in less than a day; anarchists and agitators had riots across the USA organized immediately.
Street level Africans were riled up and used to terrrorize USA cities, and the globalist/Marxist/Dem leaders negotiated successfully with intimidated corporations and sports franhchises to get what they want.
This is ALL for the Dems benefit, they will stop at nothing to take full power.

Official local government coroner said: not asphyxiation. Floyd had lethal levels of hard drugs in his blood. He had coronary disease. Floyd said he could not breathe several times, while still standing up, before Chauvin arrived. Floys is a very large still young ex-football player who clearly resisted arrest and was difficult to contain. He was held down by an experienced officer who used a controlversial but not banned technique.

After the election, Chauvin: 3 years for manslaugher, out in 2.

It makes it worse for me if he told them he couldn't breathe and then he put his knee on his neck for 8 minutes.

If Chauvin gets acquitted then you should head for the nearest air raid shelter.....
must be a while since you've been back to the states as those all got repurposed around 1992

i will, however, buy more ammo

The liberals set it up so they can riot no matter what. They will riot when those innocent cops in Atlanta get acquitted.

No doubt the knee was problematic regardless. I think the point is that didn't cause the breathing issue. I would give him jail on brutality alone. But the point is murder or even a serious sentence that isn't murder for the death looks hard to come by. As I said the optics and fear of riots make this difficult and interesting. I would guess less than 5 years but the fear of riots and optics could make it worse. Find it hard to believe 20 or more years though

Probably why they didn't release the footage. Wanted as much outrage as possible. Set the stage

Has anyone watched the extended video? George Floyd had 2000 chances to just get into the car and have a peaceful arrest and be immediately released by a liberal judge on no bail and been out on the street scamming Americans in 2-3 hours.

Chauvin will be found guilty but NOT for murder in the first.

Hopefully no rioting goes on.

Maybe the day the verdict comes out, NBA players will refuse to play that night? (joking not joking)

Acquitted altogether still seems like a big dog

Better question is if he gets manslaughter in the 5-10yr range (seems very likely), what will the fallout from that be?

I was gonna start a whole new thread.
WTF is gonna stop these riots? I mean seriously. Rochester now. Portland has been forever. Hands up don't shoot was a lie. George Floyd is basically a lie too
They riot over any black persn regardless of the circumstances.
Even though the optics were bad with Floyd and we almost all agreed....it turns out they basically did nothing wrong. That is how they were trained.
You can ask for different training
And I personally can't imagine kneeling on a guys neck for 9 minutes as he says he can't breathe but we see these guys complain about everything all the time when arrested
At this point what is going to make them not take to the streets? Even if you change training you will still get some questionable things happen
What you need is shoot to kill or maim order for rioters.

I agree with the manslaughter conviction based on the accumulated evidence I've read in various reports. The officer's behavior was inhuman and reprehensible, he deserves jail time. But I don't think he's guilty of murder.

With the drugs Floyd swallowed and in his system, with his preexisting conditions, I'm not sure Floyd would have survived anyhow unless they pumped his stomach and he received immediate medical assistance. We'll have to wait until all the facts come out.

The rioters and those who encourage, enable and reward their behavior will not be interested in the nuances of the truth.

It's going to get ugly

He is not charged with degree murder - he is charged with 2nd degree felony murder which gets rid of the intent element - pretty sure he will be convicted of this - don't see any way out of it - even if all the experts testify the heroin and heart disease killed him - the totality of the arrest was still a factor - that alone is enough
