If A Team Is Undecided On Mariota & Winston, Don't You Take Marcus Based On His Legs Alone?

As far as Famous Jameis, the physical skills are there (more than Mariota as Winston is a more pure pocket passer than Mariota................Mentally he was really clutch in several games this past year as his team wasn't as good as year before..........The off-the-field issues and perceived immaturity is a risk for a team to invest that much money in.....Either he will grow out of it or he won't......That's the risk.

Like any new QB coming in the league the #1 goal should be obscessed with being great (the filmroom should be your entire social life especially younger QB's, no time for "turning up" or other social activities due to alot of money after signing contract and letting it go to your head thinking you made it)...This is where some may be hesitant to invest that much money in Winston..........I'm sure teams will interview him many times to get a read where his mind at.

Winston works very hard. The problem isnt on the field, or off the field. His teammates love him and he leads tremendously. There is no problem other than most people dont realize it due to the ridiculous media witch hunt vs Winston.

See, this is where these teams make the mistake at.

You don't take a qb 1st overall because you need one. You take him because you think him or her will be the face of your franchise for the next 15 years.

If he is a top 2-3 player, of course you draft one. The rub is the same 8-10 teams are always drafting in the top half of the draft every year, most of them have QB issues. Its one thing to draft a QB high, you also have to develop them. This is where the same 8-10 teams fail at.

Do you have any confidence in any qb that Rex Ryan or Lovie Smith throw out there?

NFL teams don't give a f*** about the off field stuff as long they aren't liable. Ray Rice would never have been cut until it became a PR nightmare.

There at least 6 or 7 things that I look at before considering a qb's legs.
