Mayor Martin J. Walsh has fired a 25-year-old city youth worker after learning the Roxbury woman was among 11 protesters who chained themselves to 1,200-pound, concrete-filled barrels in Milton on Thursday, snarling morning rush-hour traffic and stalling at least two ambulances, the Herald has learned.
“As mayor, you have to make tough, difficult decisions. This is not a difficult decision,” Walsh said. “This was not based on the fact of this woman protesting. It was based on the fact of putting the public safety of other people at risk.”
Nelli Ruotsalainen, a part-time youth communication specialist for the Boston Centers for Youth and Families, was noncooperative and “pled the Fifth” at her City Hall hearing yesterday, after which a Labor Relations committee recommended she be terminated, according to city officials.
Walsh said he fully supports the right to demonstrate but these protesters crossed the line — and endangered and disrupted people’s lives. The mayor said he was particularly upset that the protesters jeopardized the life of an 83-year-old car crash victim whose ambulance had to be rerouted from Boston Medical Center to a Brockton hospital.
“You can’t put people in harm’s way like that,” he said.
Note she was a “Gender & Migration Consultant” which I'm sure the tax payers of Boston need desperately...

Even someone as intellectually challenged as these two butter-faced heffers should grasp that protesting and particularly blocking streets accomplishes nothing. If you think there is even a slim chance people like these Butterballs do this because they honestly believe it'll get results or if you believe that most of the people who protest shyt in this manner even believe in any specific cause and thats why they are doing it then you are very naive.
People who do this want attention, to feel the zeal of "revolution" lmfao or because, like these 2 hags, they have absolutely nothing else to do with their time as they have no Lives so they desire to impeded those that do out of envy.
The only Revolution happening in this country is the Revolt against making a conscious effort to be DIGNIFIED and to avoid looking like an asshole in front of the world and to not be a fat lazy cow which these 2 Tub-O-Lards are "winning"...handily.
Coach was right. These people are deadbeats. They just want to cause chaos and don't really care what the reason is behind it. They don't contribute anything to society, they just slow progress and cause grief to people just trying to live their lives.
