infact not certain if Mario will be there. How's his knee?
I heard somebody saying some time ago that Ancic has no chances to play at Wimbledon, nothing better information. I think Ancic was a huge promise but the development of some players just stops surprisingly too fast. Ancic is imo too inflexible and that hurts him in the ballrallies. Let's hope we will see Ancic playing soon.

I agree with you Hope that Murray is the one of most potentials threats for Roger and he is smart too and playing in front of his homecrowd or is he scottish?...anyway the crowd should be behind him but in Wimbledon it pretty much cheers for everybody compared for example to US Open where the crowd is heavily behind it's own players so it does not matter so much. Back injury is always hard so maby we will see Murray at his best next year.

Thanks for the nice words gentlemen. Murray is Scottish, but the English crowd loves him. I remember him saying last year though, that he is Scottish and doesnt like being called English. Good luck tommorow everyone.

Like ICC said, Murray is Scottish. He said something along the lines of rooting against the English at the World Cup. Good on him, no Scottish person would support them.

Ancic is most definitely out of Wimbledon. Apparently he'll be returning by September for the Davis Cup against Great Britain. Murray just came through a training session and will be hoping to make it to Wimbledon, but nothing is confirmed. If he was fully fit then I'd definitely give him a shot. As you all said, he's a very clever player. One of the most exciting to watch because he's capable of hitting alot of different shots, good volleyer, nice dropshot, and some solid groundstrokes. He's also deceptively fast.

I'm hoping Federer comes into a Wimbledon with his shaky mindstate. It's way too boring having Fed/Nadal continually dominate.

I get what you are saying Rhino, but I am cheering real hard for a Fed and Rafa final on the grass again. While I must admit it has become a bit repetitive, I find the relevance of that potential match-up as too much to pass up. If Rafa could be Roger on the grass then we could truly be in store for one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports history. Rafa could very well be on his way to 6 or 7 straight French Opens, and as his game continues to improve he will most likely obtain a Austrailian Open (rebound ace) and could even get a US Open. He has won numerous Super 9s on hard as you know. We could be on the verge of watching two of the best tennis players of all time trying to complete only the 2nd and 3rd career slams of the modern era. That to me would be the highest of drama.

It would be a better rivalry if Nadal were to improve. I think he will get better on grass in the next few years. He's already showing some good signs with an improving serve and better volleying.

But, I'd prefer if there was a pool of 5 or 6 players that could on any given day beat each other. It would make it so much more exciting. It's up to the others to step up and provide a challenge to Federer and Nadal.
