As for Jamaal Tinsley, well, I met with Larry Bird earlier this week and here's what he had to say: "Jamaal will not be on our team this year."
"We're talking to some teams and hopefully before camp something can happen," Bird said. "Everybody thinks there'll be a buyout or we'll cut him or whatever but that's not going to happen. What do you think about this bonehead? There are question marks of course, but if he gets cut(which still might happen no matter what they say), why not take a flyer on him? Is Singletary even gonna make the team or will he be in the D League? I think with a contending team he might get his head out of his ass, if that's the case he is good for 10 and 8 in back up duty imo...

I think we are going to be stuck with Dragic this year. Not to say that is a bad thing, but the Suns are giving him first round money in order to help pay for his buy-out. Everything I have seen shows that this kid is going to be one hell of a player when he gets here. I dont think Tinsley would be a terriable option, but considering the fact that the Suns are trying to get better chemistry these days. I just dont know how it fits. There was a great article on Amare yesterday in the REpublic, you should try and find it online somewhere. He is supposedly healthy for the first time and is totally motivated to be a great defender. Will it happen? I dont know. Its just better than him talking aout averaging 50 and not paying any attention to defense.
I also read that Rubios team is throwing a boat load of money at him to keep him in Spain. I know his parents are raising him to be really humble and I know he has some weird bond with them. I hope he doesnt take the Rafa mentalitity and want to live with them until he is 40 and comes to the NBA.

I read in a thread that Serious Addiction here is a good NBA capper. Im excited to start working with some new people around here to see if we can even find some more good ways to look at games. I think this site is going to offer us a lot more in erms of NBA information, and Im really looking forward to that. I miss some stuff about the old place, like the afternoon conversations, but I think this is going to be a great NBA season for us.
I actually talked to Miz about this awhile back and I completely agree. There was a problem at the old site and it started when we all started to look at games the exact same way. Did we win? Yes. But if everyone has the exact same take/angle on the game then that doesn't get us anywhere. You need to hear someone coming from the other direction and be able to agree with it or diffuse it. Different opinions help, not hurt, and we had too many people on the exact same page every single day...
