Should only get better over the next couple years too. Regardless of what happens this year they should go into 2016 as one of the favorites to come out of the NL.

Indont know now about that. Cardinals get healthy, resign heyward and piscotty another year under his belt they will be the favorite, and I doubt the Pirates take a step back.

Note I said "one of the favorites".

But if the Cubs add a big name arm in the offseason they will be shorter odds than Pittsburgh, I can promise you that. Obviously that price is partially driven by public perception; i.e. a lot of long-suffering Cubs fans clamoring for futures tickets.

Either way, they're in a better position THIS YEAR than most of us had dared to hope.

How long was the application process to become a Cubs fan? I'm actually a Cards fan.....well I used to be diehard until I became a cold blooded gambler. Had the Cubs for series huge. Will parlay onto the next series and then the WS for some. Have to take some profits, but I think it's their year and have been saying so since June.
