J-Man, I am amazed at your patience in this thread... knowing how you would have to take "the flack" for dropping out at the "last minute". Your fear of flying is real, and I understand why you feel you can't go onto the plane.
I myself know I have JUST ONE LIFE-- not like cats (and really, cats only have 1 life anyway, LOL). So, every time the plane starts its ascent on the long runway, I am aware that it's now out of my hands & of course feel that I don't have anything tied up in case something bad happens. It doesn't stop me from flying everywhere, though, like several long trips to Alaska a few years ago to visit my best friend. Not to throw a stat out there, but I'm sure you know how you actually are likely to die from driving (and especially in MD, eh?) than flying.
Anyway, I didn't mean to make a morbid post... but cool pixes that you attempted to post (didn't see some others as you took them down after a few minutes but I actually thought the one picture from few weeks ago was from that TV show, Journeyman character).

That has always been my impression, and that hasn't changed regardless of this thread that you can't make it in person to the bash.
I like TTinCo's idea of having 2008 Spring bash at the Preakness, why the heck not!? :toast:
Hope to meet you sooner than later, J-man.
Take care,
