I wonder if these messages on NBA jerseys are inspiring anyone to go out and take action?

The hard part for me is that I don’t know who most of these players are b/c of nicknames.

I watch the HEAT all the time so I know the players but had no clue who any nuggets were. I saw big white guy and figured it was Jokic but was actually Plumlee.

Yep, I could tell the difference between Kuzma and Danny Green - and the first and second year players I have no clue who is out there - probably the dumbest shit I've seen - league should have picked 20 community service options and made the players pick one and commit 100 hours to it - that might have had an impact - this is noise and nothing else

I saw Mason Plumlee has "peace" on the back of his jersey.

I wonder how many people those words inspired in Chicago yesterday?

If you don't like Malcolm X, or if he's too wordy for you, then maybe Sir Charles Barkley can water down the message a tad

"Poor people have been voting for democrats for 50 years, and they're still poor"

Yep.

They are being used and they do not even know it.

I just wish every African voter would see Barkley say this...

What I'm saying, just different

Butt it makes superficial people feel better about themselves

People who get things done know it's a joke

The sad thing is, the black community idolizes Lebron James like a mini-god.

If Lebron James went to Chicago and stayed there for a few weeks, doing meet and greets and community cleanups and speaking out against violence, it would actually lower violent crime in the area, at least for a while.

It would literally save children and toddlers.

But will he, or anyone else like him do that? Fuck no, that ain't going to pad their bottom line.

These people are shitty human beings. Don't believe otherwise.

i watched some of the c’s vs blazers yesterday.

Didn’t realize skinny Melo played for the blazers.

After opening night, it appears not many are watching the NBA or MLB. I guess woke = broke as who wants to sit though a social lecture plus, I think, people figured they could survive without the games until football starts.
