I wish bums would stop picking through the dumpster

What else are they supposed to do? Some people were dealt a bad hand in life and if they have to rummage through dumpsters just to say alive, what harm are they causing you? Now I see that you call them bums, and yes some probably are, but do you think the homeless chose that life?

Give em a break, let them rummage through the dumpster and maybe every once in a while throw them a bone or something.

Hell I'm proud of our bums there well fed and well clothed...thats a direct reflection of society as a whole,is how our bums our doing and ours are doing great I'm glad to report...hell our bums would be upper middle class compared to some countries....just think how good they could live if they got off their ass and swept a floor a couple hours a week...but you know bums...fuuuuuuuckkk that!

I'll tell you what though. I thought the plan was they can sleep at a shelter and they get help from others finding a job. then you save up enough you move out of the shelter into a studio apt. and then you can get internet access and post and gamble. :suomi:

No I wasn't talking to you. I just occasionaly see homeless people around here (not often) and it makes me sad.:sad3:

I believe that apart from the seriously disabled, homeless people do choose that life, everyone is given a series of choices in their lives its all up to the indivudual to decide which path to choose(and your always free to change the path youre on).

P.S. I for one have eaten at a Salvation Army and believe me when I tell you they eat better than us. I was served: Eggs, toast, oatmeal, sausage, fruit, and orange juice once, I couldnt even finish my plate. Denny's charges like 8 bucks for a breakfast like that. Homeless is the only way to go in my opinion.

There are bums making 50,000 a year with their cups and hands held out all the time...get the fuck away from me!! I'm not giving you my change. It's the frauds the ruin it for the ones that need it....Illini has a great story about some "bum" who wanted money...he said no and instead gave him a sandwich, only to walk away and watch the "bum" throw it in the trash.

lot of them are alcoholics. they want money to buy booze. i always offer food if i have it. they almost never take it.
