Sadly, this is most gamblers mindset. And IMO mindset is what does most gamblers in.

I swear you could tell a guy, here are moves that will cash 58%, and 90% of gamblers couldn't just play those games accordingly and collect.

Men, I don't play personally but I have backed a player the past two years. Bitching over $20 bucks a week ($300) for a solid service is laughable.

You either play to win or go away.

I'll leave this here for now, because it's been a Hot topic. But you will have to take it to the NFL & Site Promotions forums.

Thanks & GL

Out of complete curiosity, why is it when Sharky pimps his proxy service each year here in the offshore, it's allowed to stay and not get sent to the promotions deal?

He's allowed to post it in the NFL AND Site Promotions Forum, I don't recall one Here in the Offshore. or maybe we did the same, he might have Started it here in Offshore and then it was moved to the NFL forum. Then he started one in Site Promotions

He sure does start them. About 60 days before kick each year. Not saying it's wrong, I think he's a good dude.

Easy and simple to do for those who are entering the contest and are looking for a proxy.

$300 +no commission if you cash.

Good luck to everyone, and see you all in Vegas!!

Send me a message here if interested.

Sweet deal since there's no % of winnings, but my guess is we'll remain loyal to Shark for now. But if you stick around for a couple of years and build your base, who knows.

Now the business man in me comes out. I think you're leaving money on the table, I think you should take some %, just lower than everyone else, maybe something like 2 to 5 %. You could have a sliding scale, taking a larger % as winnings grow but remain below the norm.

Furthermore, you can entice new players by saying their fee structure will remain the same for 5 years, even if you increase fees for new members down the road.

$300 and no commission seems to be the most fair in my book. I feel its fair for everyone, and there is no hassle at all at the end of the contest. If they want to throw me an extra "tip" if they cash cause I put all their plays in for them, then that I will consider a well earned bonus.

But to charge an extra fee for someone who cashes as some sort of *fine* for winning doesn't appeal to me... cause those who didn't cash don't have to pay anything else other then the flat fee.

Put I will gladly accept tips with no question lol.

No Doubt, I'll go with NFL Trends. Nobody has said anything bad about the guy. He's one of the few not charging commission.
I don't mind giving a bonus if I cash. At his rate, $300 flat rate he should do well. Especially if all goes well he'll eventually get
all the proxies he can handle. Even if he gets just 10 proxies this year that's 3 grand. And he's going to the LVH anyway. I see
a changing of the guard eventually. JMO.

Excellent post

The hardest part being a proxy(with the 14 I did last year) is the 30 minutes each week filling out the cards).........

The fourteen contestants paid me a total of $2800($200 each)...........my work takes me to the LVH anyways so it was absolutely little hassle for me, there were many times during the season that I picked off good betting numbers at the LVH that I would have never had if not being a proxy runner, thus I killed two or more birds being a proxy.............and I'm sure most if, not all, would have thrown me some extra coin if they would have placed in the money, if I decide to proxy again this year or in the future, will never charge a commission.

By the way, for those in this thread that were with me last year or those that may want to come on board this year, stated that I was not doing this year but stated earlier in this thread if I can find a reliable proxy backup for the two weeks I'm gone during the season, will do this year, BUT I don't want to string anyone here along so will let all you know my plans before JULY 15th........the rate will be same as last year, $200 plus NO commission, and in addition, for those that used me last year, if any or all of you can find the time on your visit to Vegas, dinner or lunch on me, it was a great pleasure working with all of you last year, all of you were completely stress free to deal with.........rather I proxy for you again this year or not, I will enjoy having a rooting interest in all of you!!!!

Cool, thanks

Don't want to step on your toes here and take some business away from you, not sure how serious you take this proxy stuff, if the few that sign up with me this year(if I do), will throw you a few few bucks for filling in the two weeks I'm gone if you are indeed my backup proxy.

I'm only going to take on 10-12 entrants (20-24 entries tops) , so hopefully this will not effect you to much either way.

Thanks again for the offer.
