ok, so now your numbers "THEORETICALLY" make sense, but your equation still leaves too much to assumption.

just like you arent considering overhead or marketing, you also arent considering other factors such as the guy who posted up $10,000 and still only got a $200 bonus.

you guys are trying to look at whether a business model will work or not, and you dont have the ENTIRE MODEL.

hate to be the spoiled sport here, but unless you have ALL the factors there is NO WAY to tell if something like this will work or not.

RPM:

This $10,000 deposit for $200 bonus - you know this doesn't happen.

The only way it will work is if BoDog has a super-high retention rate - in other words, if Joe Square deposits $1,000, is overjoyed to get the $200 bonus, and now will continue to play and play and play (without making any withdrawals) until he eventually taps out. If BoDog has a very high percentage of these types of players, it may work.

But remember, they need to have enough of these types of players to offset:
1. Everyday expenses / overhead / marketing costs (which must be huge)
2. Bonus vultures who move in, scalp their way through the rollover, and cash out
3. Any sharp players / steam chasers who make profitable bets + get the 20% bonus

why doesnt it? shit. i cant tell you how much bonus money i have turned down. the last two books i posted up with were the first time i have accepted a bonus.

also, are you trying to tell me that people only post up the minimum they can to recieve the max bonus?

with a max bonus of $400 that is just $2,000 depostit. anything over that doesnt get a bonus.

MANY, MANY PEOPLE, even a fish like me post up more than 2 dimes everyday.

Not a spin, mine or otherwise, just fact.

The biz model (20%/10c) is a negative one.

Overhead & marketing is a debit.

Plain and simple.

ok, let me ask this then. and all i want is a simple, HONEST answer...

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THIS BONUS/DIME LINE PROGRAM WILL WORK WITHOUT KNOWING THE COMPANIES COMPLETE BUSINESS MODEL?

RPM,
You are fighting a losing battle on this one. Throw in BoDogs multi-million dollar marketing campaign at expensive sites like this one and it looks even worse.

Your arguement RPM is that the roll-over will take the average guy right into football and .20 lines.

I think the concern here is that by any measure BD is leveraged and they need a good start to football...

RPM, the biz model (20%BONUS/DIME LINE PROGRAM) is a NEGATIVE ONE. Who else does it? NAB did for awhile...

I would like for McIrish to comment...

Why in hell would you "turn down" bonus money ? Let's say you sign up with Pinnacle, and they give you 10% bonus. If you gamble 3x at Pinnacle, you keep the bonus. If you withdraw before 3x, they take back the bonus and you withdraw. You can never be WORSE off by accepting the bonus - if you withdraw early, you just give it back.
