Long time lurker here, but I had to make a post after constantly reading these shenanigans.

First off, I'd like to say thank you to the RX for many years of solid information and picks.

Now to the bullshit. Last I checked this a college basketball forum meant to share information and picks regarding COLLEGE BASKETBALL. No one gives a shit that you and Paul Bunyan chopped down an entire oak tree forest while biking 100 miles every day. Any one here with half a brain knows that is complete bullshit. Shit like that belongs in RR. You show up in everyone's thread with random posts about how much Mac18 you are going to down, etc. If you want to chit-chat take it elsewhere. Let's keep this shit on topic, which is college basketball. I know this post has nothing to do with that, but I had to get this off my chest. You bring all of this on yourself. Going forward I would like to contribute what knowledge I do have of college basketball to the forum.

Let's be real. 100 miles a day. Every day? I assume you are the world record holder then. Anyone who knows how to use Google can call you on your ridiculous bullshit.

Back to college basketball please.

STFU you fucking moron! Is there a cryptic play hidden in your maze of BS? Bottom line is that you are not a good college basketball handicapper. Asshole mushes like you just just exacerbate the situation. Post your bullshit plays or go to the RR and spin your unbelievable tales down there.

Well said. Been around here a long time as many of you have and haven't seen an attention whore like this guy in ages.

I'm not sure how to respond to this. I've not played the NBA in years, in fact, told someone that last night in one of my posts. So how could I be stating I'm hitting 64% when I don't even bet the games. WOW! I'm man enough to state the past two nights have been horrific at best, if you look at the games and all the posts here, at least two other long-time posters were on each of those games. 2-5 last night, that make Lt. Legless Happy?!? I could give a shit, that's not what this place is supposed to be about. All you jackasses talking shit, I'll give ya an address in Charlotte ya wanna really bring it. I'd highly suggest working out before ya get here.

DAMN!

Well said on what was well said. Some posters should only be allowed to post in the rubber room.

Some of you idiots are amazing. At 25-30 MPH, do the math, more than enough time in the day. It takes less than 4 hours, no more questions at this time. Managed to bring all the idiots out with this thread, LOL.

~T~

"Typically, an average cyclist can finish a century ride in 7-8 hours, though that always varies on your skill level and how much time you spend off the bike during the course of the day."

  • The hour record on the bicycle is a test to see how far a cyclist can travel in an hour. The elite, like the great Eddy Merckx, have achieved about 30 miles in an hour. If he could keep that pace up he could finish a century ride in a little over three hours.
  • The Ironman 140.6 triathlons include a 112-mile bike ride. Normann Stadler of Germany has the world championship course record, finishing in 4:18 (26 miles per hour). And he had to swim 2.4 miles before that ride, go 12 miles further than a century and then run 26.2 miles immediately afterward!

I see the putz went crying to to the Mod Squad and had my comment deleted. They will never get another shot at silencing me. This is what you get when they can't prevent anarchy. They opened the door and personally invited nitwits like this idiot to use a sports forum to spin his unbelieveable BS yarns instead of a place to exchange ideas geared to help members learn and win money.

Do you have any idea what the word "forum" means. Nowhere, and I mean absolutely NOWHERE, does any definition include ridiculing, bashing, hating, etc. another person. It's a place to exchange ideas, a medium of open discussion. Yet, on this site, which I'm growing very weary of, there seems to be an attack du jour every day. Listen, I've got more demons in my head from what I've had to do than any man should ever have to live with, I bike 100 miles every day just to keep sane. There's simply no reason whatsoever to hammer a poster here, everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. If you don't like what someone puts out there, fine, just pass on it and go to the next line. It's a real simple proposition, shit, I'd fade me right now, I'm cold as ice, but don't diss me, or anyone else here. Hope we're clear on this. I always wish everyone here at the RX nothing but the best, let's treat each other the same. GLTA

Tmader7, you kind of set yourself up for all of this. Almost all of your posts are in some way about accomplishments (whether real or fake) you have managed in your lifetime. You tell us about what an athlete your are or were, you tell us how rich you are, or were, or believe you are. You have built and bought companies, you have jetted cross country countless times, you have been to war and emerged a hero, you were making money in the Natural Gas field before anybody else did, you have not only done XY and Z but the whole alphabet! Best of all you have mastered everything!

If you have to consistently tell people how much you have in life, chances are you have very little. At the very least, you have little class!

Average speed of the Tour de France riders in like 22 MPH - that's mountainous terrain but they are also the most elite in the world - but this internet warrior cruises 30 mph 365 days a year - anyway, even by his numbers were are talking 5 hours of ur day - that's without any cool down - this is the best shit I've read in a while

This shit is classic. And this guy is still going on about it like we actually believe his superhuman feat.

3:23 AM Central - "what else is a man to do......time for a bike ride, lol. "

7:08 AM Central - "
For those keeping score, just got in from doing the 485 loop twice. And my home is another 8 miles from the loop, LOL."

This link says the 485 loop is 59 miles.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_485

Assuming he rode every single minute between those 2 times he was biking for 3 hours and 45 minutes. He claims to have gone 134 miles in 3 hours and 45 minutes. By my math that is a constant rate of 35.73 MPH (134 miles / 3.75 hours).

At this point I have to believe this guy is either Superman, Lance Armstrong back on the juice, Flash, or full of complete bullshit. I'll let you decide.

I've seen a lot of crazy claims in my day, but maintaining 25-30 mph for 100 miles everyday is probably the funniest claim I've seen. Who would even think about lying about that?
