When Rod first came on board last year TYPING IN ALL CAPS AND AS LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS AS COULD BE, I was one of the first ones to start bitching about him and supported most of your arguments. To be honest, his typing in ALL CAPS is now worse then your spelling used to be.

However, that was over a year ago. Rod's money mgmt is questionable and I remember him "padding his record" last year as well. I have not noticed that this football season but perhaps I am wrong.

Here is what I do not understand. Why are you so threatened by him? Your always bitching about something he does (some I agree with and some I do not) but you sound like a freakin middleschool girl in a bitch fight? Have some respect for yourself my friend.

If people want to pay for Rod's picks, Wayne Root's picks or whoever they want, let them make that decision. If they have paid attention at all in the forum, they know what they are getting into.

My advice? Stop trying to be the big brother and "protect us all from Rod" and let adults make their own decision.

I used to follow your posts regularly but now find myself not even wanting to read them and get sucked into the incessent whining that accompanies your posts.

Most of us that had any ounce of common sense saw Rod setting up the tout business. His replies to every single message of "good job" or "great pick" to help build a comraderie with posters was the writing on the wall. Nobody is that concerned with people liking them and "feeling important" that he responded personally to them unless they want something from them....mainly...money.

If Rod chooses to make obnoxious 30 unit plays to try to make up for poor picks, that is his choice I guess. Those who know anything realize that no bet should be 30 times the average bet and seeing such a post should warn them that trouble is brewing.

OK. I now have been sucked into this debacle and it has wasted more of my day then it should have.

Possible Solution - Rod agrees to only tout in the Promotions Forum and you agree to stop bitching and get back to capping like the good ole days?

excellent post. but i do think it is in the best interest of the posters to be informed of the dubious activity of rf.

panther and others on this forum have helped many of the more gullible people to understand what rf is all about, and in the process saved them from the influence of a pitiful sports bettor.

If someone can not tell what is going on, then they deserve to be taken for a ride.

To be honest, I think Rod's football picks *may* be worth a few dollars but then again, I think there are dozens of people at the RX whose picks are worth a few dollars and there are plenty that are not worth a single sent...some of them are touts and some not.

I digress. The point is to let the RX be the watchdog and not have 100 posters being the watchdog for the RX. If a book is screwing with your privately, then bring it to the forum for all to know. If Rod is screwing people publicly in the forum and you do not realize it, then you deserve to be screwed with and the mods should take appropriate action.

I hate to see Panther whining like a little bitch when I know he is above that. It is like he feels threatened that many people read and follow Rod's plays. I follow Rod's plays. Obviously, Panther does as well. Does that mean I follow them blindly? No.

Should the fact that more people read Rod's plays then Panther's somehow threaten his manhood and make him less of a capper? No.

So the big question is why does it?

Why does it bother me that you state the facts? Well, if it was just facts, then it may be less disrupting. Do I know that Rod has padded his record? Hell yes but I have not seen it for a while. Do I know that Rod is horrible at bases? Hell yes. Do I know that Rod chases losses by making 25 unit bets to try to make up for past bad plays? Hell yes.

Can anyone with an ounce of sense see this? I sure as help hope so.

Facts are facts. You claim that you only post "facts" about Rod. Let me ask you this. Since you are insistent that he has so many "ghosts" on the site, what proof do you have? I think you normally use the number 26 or 27 for his number of ghosts. Please divulge how you came up with this number since you only post "the facts". I would hate to think that someone so hellbent on the truth and "protecting the less fortunate" would have simply made up such a stat.

Does Rod need a kick in the ass sometimes? Certainly. Do I think the Forums are more interesting with Rod around? Yes.

If this was survivor and I had to vote one of you off the island, I am sorry to say it would be you.

In a perfect world, I would like to think the two of you could co-exist but I just don't see it happening.
