Willie held post up funds with both parties of each bet in full agreement of said bets. Whatever happened in the past is a separate issue. It's not his job as escrow holder to right any wrongs of the past. It's his job to distribute funds to the winners.

I recall when these election bets were being made that I expressed shock and surprise of the action taking place on an open forum. Instead I was told by a couple of posters that it was fine and people knew each other and can be trusted, yada yada. Yes I'm fully aware of the backstory. But in normal elections not involving Don the con the result is accepted and the candidate concedes. Granted he can challenge the results and get recounts but it became a frivolous circus and should have stopped weeks ago. But let me stop harping on that. Crude figured he won on several occasions but the envelope kept getting pushed.
