no shit i saw a guy die today...driving up the road and from out of no where comes a guy right in front of me,i had the green light and was pissed until i saw he was passed out at the wheel...he was only traveling maybe 5 or 10 MPH...he crossed 4 lanes of traffic and plowed into a little old lady sitting at red light...i called 911 and got out to try and help...could not get his door open, but police came and dragged him out on pavement and started CPR..he was dead...i had never saw that before in my life..always wondered what my reaction would be..it wasn't good...very disturbing..first time in my life i ever saw someone dead...

the only reason i stuck around was to tell the police that he was probably already dead when he hit the woman...did not want her to go through hassles about the wreck and damages to her car...

Tough one.

Natural occurrence.....people die in their sleep every day. Not while they are driving a motor vehicle of course, but the other part is natural.

I sure hope I die in my sleep like Grandpa did...instead of kicking and screaming like his passengers in the back seat.

Naturally you're really annoying.

Go away.

OH MAN...That sounds bitchin'!

Did you get any pics of him with your cell phone? Like with blood & guts hanging out and stuff?

Sincerely

My grandfather died blowing out the candles at his birthday party. Now that's fucked up.

well....weird thing happened this morning...phone rang and it turned out to be brother of the man..he wanted to know about my 911 call and the time that went by...i told him more than 5 minutes and maybe as many as 8 or so...he began crying several times during our conversation...i started asking him about his brother and was told he was 64 (did not look it) and had already had 2 heart attacks...i asked him what he was doing in the park and he said he went there to walk...conversation kept going and at times he would break down and cry..i felt uncomfortable and kept trying to end conversation...he revealed that the Dr. had told the family that he had to have been without oxygen for over 5 minutes and that is why he wanted to ask me...

then he dropped bombshell!the family still has this man hooked up to life support...look.. i feel bad for this family and i really feel they are up to something,as in suing city for 911 response time or something...the city i was in has been criticized as recently as 4 weeks ago for this very thing (a fire at 4 in the morning) i now regret getting involved in this mess and wished i would have just dialed 911 and left the scene...

don't know if in fact this is the case but seems like it to me and i feel like i have not heard the last of this...

I've been to 2 open casket funerals. Mostly recently was my grandmothers a couple years ago, sort of creepy and sad b/c they person looks so real laying there.

Side note, grandmother was a huge Phillies fan, hope she got to watch.

yeah i know...what a crock of shit..lesson learned...the only reason i got involved is because i wanted to let police know that it was no fault of this man...he was clearly unconscious before any impact with ladies car..
