Jones is one dumb dude when it comes to football. His commitment to winning is second to none, but he makes dumb decision after dumb decision. I like him b/c he wants the Cowboys' to be a winner and he's real about it. But dumping Romo after (and during) Dak has a flash in the pan kind of year.... dumb, dumb move. Dak won b/c of the team that was set up, not b/c of Dak himself. How many superbowls have been with QB's like Dak? You may not like it, but it's the truth. So he dumped a Pro Bowl level QB and now he's got Dak. How good will Dak be?
So he dumped Romo at the first look of winning and it backfired horribly. The guy will be dead soon and he'll have no QB, the most important position on the field. The Cowboys might suck for the next five years.
That division is racked with strange ownership. Look at the Redskins. The guy has zero desire to win any games. His main goal, aside from making money, is one simple thing. Every few years he sits down in his office with the top half of a suit on; he is naked from the bottom down. Then he looks the coach right in the eyes who is opposite of him at his desk... and he jacks off while he fires another coach. That's what that sick fuck does every few years to the Redskins. He just lives to bring in a quality coach and then do everything in the background to destroy the team so they can't win... and then he can happily fire the coach.
