that was hilarious to me Jerry Jones was saying Romo's injury was a "pain tolerance" issue. I'd like to see him try to jog with 2 fractured bones in his back, nevermind play QB in the NFL

No wonder MJ said the organization didn't ply with the flu in Utah

Why did the boys were blue at home :think2:

Because the league came out with a rule last year that states, "Due to concussion protocol, players must wear their regular helmets on throwback dates." The Cowboys have been wearing their white and blue throwback uniforms in Thanksgiving. But, their throwback helmet are white which means their equipment guys would have to paint each silver helmet white and then white and then back to silver again within just a few days for their next game.

Did you know? In the early NFL years it was the home teams that wore their color jerseys and visiting teams wore white? It was early Cowboy owner Tex Schramm that started the Cowboys wearing white jerseys at home because he wanted Cowboy fans to see all the different colors teams had that were visiting. This was done contrary to league rules. But the league caught on and changed the rule and that's why we see home teams with white jerseys today.

Here are some other rules Tex Schramm changed in the NFL

Schramm was also known for innovations that helped redefine the modern NFL. These include instant replay, using computer technology in scouting, multi-color striping of the 20- and 50-yard lines, 30-second clock between plays, extra-wide sideline borders, wind-direction stripes on the goal post uprights, the referee's microphone, and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. While leading the league's Competition Committee, he oversaw rule changes such as using overtime in the regular season, putting the official time on the scoreboard, moving goalposts from the front of the end zone to the back, and protecting quarterbacks through the in-the-grasp rule. Schramm's desire for a more comprehensive scouting combine led to the annual offseason NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. [1] [2]
Don Shula said of Schramm, "I truly believe he had as much, or more, to do with the success of professional football as anyone who has ever been connected with the league."

Maybe so fZ, but you have to admit you weren't loving it as much as you figured you'd be this year...

Nice bump.

I get a kick out of the local sports shows that are talking about a Cowboy Superbowl this year (like every year).
