Technically, he was granted a timeout during a loose ball - which is just as wrong. As a ref, we have to make sure the team calling
timeout has "player control" before you grant the time out. The NBA ref totally screwed up.

They should've granted the timeout earlier -- or at least it was a lot closer than people making it out to be

Refs make mistakes all the time, it's hard to do in real time -- especially at that level. Suns got away with a lot of crap that game

I never watch NBA maybe playoffs. Headline caught my eye. Agree real time is a totally different look but would think replay could have been used or maybe Suns were out of Challenges??

As far as the game goes, Lakers would’ve won by 25+ if not for awful refs

Lakers look like second best team in west behind the Nuggets. Should be interesting to see how the season progresses.
