LeBron has to start getting back on defense for the Lakers to win games. He's been great offensively but just horrendous on defense.

That Westbrook trade simply torpedoed any flexibility that team has to improve. Perhaps they can move Westbook in the off season because he is on an expiring but you ain't getting KCP, Kuzma, Harrell, 1st round pick back.

Basically Lakers best hope is simply cap space. They would have a rather solid young nucleus of players had they stayed the course. Ball, Ingram, Randle, KCP, Kuzma, etc.

Lebron did get them that championship. Doubtful that team would have won 1 already but would be a contending team for years to come.
